San Francisco, CA – July 11, 2017 – Pure Plastics, LLC, a Phoenix-based bespoke manufacturer and design firm serving high purity industries, unveiled their newest contribution: a mobile, shippable (DI) Water Skid.
Deionization (DI) is a chemical process that uses specially manufactured ion-exchange resins, which exchange hydrogen and hydroxide ions for dissolved minerals, and then recombine to form water. In the electronics industry, DI Water is used in the final rinsing of circuit boards, cleansing components of acids and alkalis, and after most technical operations.
The DI Water Skid designed, manufactured, and showcased by Pure Plastics at this year’s SEMICon West trade show held in San Francisco, CA July 11th – 13th boasts a purity level of 18.2 megaohms-cm at 35 gallons/115 Liters per minute. More noteworthy is the size and portability of the skid itself. The DI Water Skid is designed to clear a standard service door (80” h x 36” w) on a pallet jack, ships quickly and safely with the optional bolt on panel crating.
In an industry where fab and facility real estate is at a premium, and high purity DI water is required for more and more processes, Pure Plastics’ DI Water Skid allows customers to reduce foot print without sacrificing the quality.
