ACI Materials is pleased to be participating in FLEX & MSTC 2020, showcasing our materials that enable new  applications to meet the needs of industries of the future.  We manufacture conductive inks, pastes, and adhesives based on a patented cavitation process that offer unparalleled performance.  These include highly conductive flexible and stretchable conductive inks and dielectric materials that support hundreds of thousands of cycles and maintain continuity at strains in excess of 250%.  Inks and pastes are complemented by stretchable conductive and non-conductive adhesives that enable robust interconnects and manage the hard/soft interface in FHE and eTextile systems. 

Founded in 2013, the ACI Materials team combines more than 60 years of formulation expertise with a patented dispersion technology based on cavitation.

  • FE3124 – Flexible Printed Silver Conductor

  • ACI FE3124 is a silver filled flexible conductive trace ink for use on PET, polyimides, and other bendable substrates. It offers high conductivity (< 0.010 Ω/sq/mil) and low slump for feature resolution less than 100 μm. After cure FE3124 has excellent adhesion and flex ductility to accommodate various packaging form-factors and use cases. The ink is fully compatible with other products in ACI’s flexible electronics platform.

  • FE1334 – High Conductivity Stretchable Adhesive
    Silver based adhesive with high conductivity and elongation up to 40% to accommodate stress concentration at interconnects and other hard/soft interfaces. FE1334 is a one-part epoxy designed for syringe dispensing or stencil printing....

  • FE1334 is compatible with flexible and stretchable systems where high electrical conductivity is required. This stretchable conductive adhesive accommodates bending and stretching along the bond line and improves interconnect robustness and reliability. FE1334 can be deposited via stencil, syringe, or jet dispensing and cures with low shrinkage. The combination of high electrical conductivity (<9e-5 Ω-cm), high shear strength (>1,500 kPa), and high adhesion to a broad range of materials makes it a good choice for bonding in many flexible and stretchable applications. It is also appropriate for bonding rigid components in packages with large thermally induced strains.

  • SE1108 – Stretchable Printed Silver Conductor
    Stretchable conductor for printed circuits on elastomeric substrates, exhibiting elongation >200%, robust cyclic fatigue performance, and excellent adhesion to TPU. This silver-based ink can be screen printed or digitally dispensed....

  • ACI SE1108 is a silver filled conductor for printed circuitry and devices on elastomeric substrates. It can be dried at low temperatures to accommodate sensitive substrates and devices. After curing, the ink has excellent conductivity and offers excellent elongation and flexibility. SE1108 has been formulated for superior adhesion to thermoplastic urethanes (TPU). It is compatible with ACI’s other stretchable materials.
