Overview

Cryo H&I is an abbreviation of Cryo Human and Industry, and the company was reborn to make contributions to mankind with cryogenic technology in 2020.


We currently produce high vacuum cryopumps, and we are Korea’s first company to incorporate cryogenic cooling with helium in high vacuum pumps.

Cryogenic technology is widely used in the semiconductor and display industry, as well as advanced industries including bio, environment and space energy fields. The technology is also becoming a key technology required in advanced technological research and development.

Vacuum cryopump technology using cryogenic technology is widely used in space environment testing and medical equipment, which require vacuum technology, but unfortunately, most of such equipment are procured from overseas.

  • LN2 Generator & storage
    Liquefied nitrogen generation and storage device that can be stored for a long time and can be used whenever necessary...

  • Nitrogen (N2) present in a gaseous state is liquefied (liquefaction) at a cryogenic temperature of -196 degrees. Usually, related industries or research institutes purchase and use liquefied nitrogen. If not used for a certain period of time, liquefied nitrogen will be naturally vaporized and discarded to prevent explosion caused by rising tank pressure.

    The liquefied nitrogen generation / storage device developed by CryoH&I can generate liquefied nitrogen by itself in a cryogenic environment. It also has a function of re-liquefying the boil-off gas generated by natural vaporization with a cryocooler. A cryocooler capable of implementing a -253 degree ultra-low temperature can be installed on the top of the tank to control the partial pressure of the gas, and safety has also been improved through various sensor monitoring and alarm programs and two-way communication functions.

    In combination with PSA (Pressure Swing Adoption) process, only nitrogen gas is separated from general air and nitrogen is liquefied, so it can be used frequently according to its purpose.
    It can be used profitably in research labs that conduct R&D by utilizing a small amount of liquid nitrogen in small and medium-sized spaces.

    Application

    Liquefied nitrogen is used in hospitals, pharmaceuticals, and bio industries to store microorganisms, cord blood, cells, and vaccines, or to conduct related R&D. Liquefied nitrogen is also used in the food processing, recycling, superconducting fields, carbon dioxide capture, and gas separation and purification industries.

    • Cryo mean of extreme low temperatures, and it is a method of cooling gas molecules, to render loss of kinetic energy, freezing them in a pump, and removing them.
    • Moisture and the like are adsorbed in a baffle and cooling plate maintained at 80K, and argon, nitrogen and oxygen are adsorbed in the next 20K cooling plate.
    • In activated carbon, gases such as hydrogen or helium that are not absorbed by the cooling plate are adsorbed and removed.
