Overview
Harmonic Drive Systems (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., established in January 2011, is the wholly-owned sales subsidiary in China invested by HarmonicDrive Systems Inc. (HDSI) from Japan, and is mainly responsible for the sales, technical supports such as model selection, and after-sale services of HDSI products in mainland China.HDSI from Japan is a leading enterprise in motion control. It manufactures Harmonic Drive speed-reducers, which are featured with light weight, small size, high transmission efficiency, wide reduction range, high precision, etc. and have been widely applied to a variety of transmission systems.To cover the low reduction ratio that cannot be achieved by HarmonicDrive, HDSI has also developed the precision planetary gear speed reducers, i.e. Harmonic Planetary. With a unique deformation technology from the gear, the planetary gear is made to engage more tightly to minimize backlash, thereby controlling the transmission error within a precision range.In addition, we also offer rotary servo actuators and drivers and other electromechanical integrated products internally provided with the harmonic reducers, to better facilitate our customers in their applications.
