Jiangsu Xinhua Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Xinhua Semiconductor) was established on December 11, 2015. It is a national high-tech enterprise mainly engaged in the research and development, production, and sales of electronic grade polycrystalline silicon for the semiconductor industry. Its headquarters are located in Xuzhou, Jiangsu, with a production capacity of 5000 tons per year. In 2022, its Nei Mongol Sinvar 10000 ton electronic grade polycrystalline silicon project began construction and is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2023.
Xinhua Semiconductor is jointly invested and established by Jiangsu Zhongneng Silicon Industry Technology Development Co., Ltd., which is controlled by GCL Group, and National Integrated Circuit Industry Investment Fund Co., Ltd. With the corporate vision of becoming a leading global supplier of semiconductor materials, the company actively promotes the research and development of electronic grade polysilicon technology, and has now become the largest electronic grade polysilicon production enterprise in the semiconductor industry in China.
Through years of technological breakthroughs and upgrades, the company has achieved international advanced levels in key product indicators, making it the first enterprise in China to systematically master the preparation technology of high-purity electronic grade polycrystalline silicon. The company's products have passed the certification of most leading semiconductor silicon wafer manufacturers in China and have formed large-scale sales, laying a solid foundation for the safe and stable development of the domestic integrated circuit industry.
Since its establishment, Xinhua Semiconductor has always adhered to a forward-looking strategic positioning and layout as guidance, guided by market competitiveness, and continuously carried out technological development and innovation. As of the end of 2022, the company has 52 patents, including 19 invention patents and 33 utility model patents. It has undertaken several national and provincial-level core technology research projects and is the specific implementation unit of the sub course "Research and Development of Electronic Grade Polycrystalline Silicon Materials" of the National Science and Technology Major Special Project "Large Scale Integrated Circuit Manufacturing Equipment and Complete Process" (02 Special Project), And has undertaken the "National Strong Foundation Engineering Project", "Jiangsu Province Industrial and Information Industry Transformation and Upgrading Project", "Jiangsu Province Key Core Technology Research Project", "Jiangsu Province Key R&D Plan Project" The "Xuzhou Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Project" has participated in the revision of multiple industry standards and national standards, and is the leading unit for the revision of the national standard "Electronic Grade Polycrystalline Silicon". In 2019, the company's product was awarded the title of "Jiangsu Province Specialized, Precision, and Special New Product". In 2021, the company's "High purity electronic grade polycrystalline silicon large-scale industrialization technology for integrated circuits" won the third prize in Jiangsu Province Science and Technology.
