Founded in September 2006, TankeBlue Semiconductor Co. Ltd., is the pioneer of SiC, a 3rd generation semiconductor material, in China. The company dedicates in the research & development, manufacture and sales of SiC wafers and relevant products. TankeBlue is a “National High-tech Enterprise”, and certified as a “Little Giant” firm by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The company has been listed in Hurun Global Unicorn Index for 3 consecutive years.
At present, the company has a headquarter, a R&D center, three wholly-owned subsidiaries and one holding subsidiary. Based on a series of research results of SiC achieved by the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in the past decades, TankeBlue successfully developed 5 generations of SiC single crystal ingot growth equipment with independent intellectual property rights. The company also owns the key techniques in high-quality SiC single crystal products crystal growth, crystal processing, wafer processing, cleaning and testing. The company covers SiC single crystal equipment manufacture, SiC single crystal growth raw material synthesis, SiC single crystal substrate manufacture, and SiC epitaxial wafer manufacture, etc., Therefore, TankeBlue is able to cover the whole process of SiC semiconductor materials production. Meanwhile, the company has successfully prepared a high-quality 8-inch conductive SiC single crystal substrate, and has achieved small-scale mass production.
