AES motomation specializes in automated material handling equipment and services for the semiconductor, flat panel display and solar markets. Together with our Japanese principles: Nidec Sankyo Robotics and Sinfonia Technology, it is our mission to either, depending on our customers’ individual needs, provide drop-in-replacement individual modules such as load portsrobots or pre-aligners or provide the entire EFEM or iFEM system with a turnkey solution.

    Let's do the teaching for you!...

  • Robot teaching has never been easier, faster, with greater accuracy and higher repeatability than ever before with our Auto Teaching device. It is known that robot performance depends greatly on the expertise of the operator. However, even with an expert operator within teaching is inconsistent at best. Our Auto Teaching takes robot teaching out of the hands of the operator and puts it into the hands of the robot. That's right.

    The robot literally on its own searches unique features defined in its environment, verify the features positions with their predefined positions, calculate the offsets and update the teach file with or without the operators involvement. Its accuracy is repeatable within the robot repeatability.

  • iFEM - integrated Front End Module
    An EFEM with a Twist!...

  • The Twist is, it is an unconventional EFEM. It is not a "bolt on" module like a conventional EFEM, but is integrated into, like a slave device, that is controlled by the host or "parent tool." iFEM is THE off-the-shelf EFEM that has evolved to meet the industry equipment standardization to guarantee common interface design.

    Where off-the-shelf EFEMs do not meet small and mid equipment markets, due to EFEM manufacturers unwilling to customize standard product in low volume or specialty applications, iFEM is highly customizable. With a trackless robot and universal end-effectors it can serve up to four(4), 300mm load ports. Users with custom requirements can now rely on our iFEM as the most economical solution to unload product and deliver it to the parent tool for processing.

  • Sinfonia N2 EFEM
    Higher yields, throughput and ever-shrinking geometries enabler!...

  • With ever shrinking geometries and demand for higher yields and throughput, the requirement for a cleaner environment and less contaminants become absolutely necessary. Our N2 EFEMs having a footprint of a standard EFEM can seamlessly be used as a drop in replacement for any standard EFEM. Providing an easy, fast and economical upgrade to meet the current market demands.

    Contaminant is further reduced and maintained with a trackless Sankyo robot that can serve up to 4, 300mm load ports wide. Our N2 EFEM reduces costs to your costumers by consuming minimal N2 gas to achieve extremely low O2 level, ~100 ppm.
