Using the latest Cantilever design and manufacturing techniques, Wentworth can offer multi-DUT fine pitch probe cards with in-line pitch capability as low as 25 um, and staggered pitches of 12/24 um, high temperature probe cards up to 400°C, high current probe cards up to 100 A and low leakage parametric probe cards.

    Wentworth Laboratories, a leading manufacturer of wafer probers and probe cards for backend test solutions, is delighted to have appointed Peritest, a well-established supplier to the semiconductor industry, as its exclusive representative for France.

    This appointment follows three recent additions to Wentworth’s global network of representatives in North and South America. It is designed to strengthen the world-wide availability of local customer support for Wentworth’s range of wafer probe stations and cantilever probe cards.

    Wentworth Laboratories, a market leading manufacturer of wafer probe stations and cantilever probe cards, has appointed a new Head of Sales and Marketing to support its long-term growth strategy. Alan Christie, an experienced business development professional with engineering background, previously worked for the company for a period of 13 years in a number of roles including Head of European Customer Operations.

    After 12 years away from Wentworth, working in technical sales roles including co-owning a technology solution business, Alan has returned to the company to support its continued growth and bring additional expertise to its global activities.

    Alan brings a vast amount of product experience and knowledge of the semiconductor industry to this new role which is designed to support and develop Wentworth’s existing customer base and global network of representatives. In addition, Alan is a qualified electronics engineer with nine years hands-on experience.

  • Wentworth Laboratories Ltd ("Wentworth"), has appointed Ioannis Skarlatakis as Engineering Manager, at its UK headquarters in Sandy, Bedfordshire.

    Ioannis holds a Master's degree in Advanced Mechanical Engineering from the University of Leicester, and brings several years' experience in mechanical design. In his previous role, he was leading a team of engineers to deliver on-time technical solutions and engineering solutions to customers.

    In his new position, Ioannis will head up a team of software, electronics and mechanical design engineers, and ensure streamlined procedures and a smooth co-operation between sales, purchasing and engineering departments.

  • Wentworth Laboratories Ltd ("Wentworth"), is pleased to announce the launch of its next generation prober control software - LabMaster™ FA.

    LabMaster™ FA provides full analytical prober control to enable easy operation of the tool. It includes wafer mapping capability for die to die probing, video click & shoot for easy navigation, probe tracking to help with needle positioning and system accessory control including optics and temperature environments.

    Updated to be Windows 10 compatible, LabMaster™ FA takes advance of new technology developments including offering support to a wider range of video systems. In addition, the latest version enables users to choose from a selection of scripting languages, including Python. Other user interface enhancements include improved functionality for touchscreen operation, multi-video input and clearer device control for probes, stage and microscope.

  • The Pegasus™ A200 is an automatic production 200 mm wafer prober, delivering advanced automation for high volume probing applications requiring special handling, such as GaN, GaAs, saw frames and thin wafers.

    This probe station offers dual-end, parallel processing of wafers and optimizes wafer handling for maximum throughput. Designed for easy access when manually loading and unloading wafers, the Pegasus™ A200 has a capacity of two cassettes, each containing 25 wafers.
