 Press Releases

  • So small and yet so important – the smart devices that govern everyday life are unthinkable without semiconductors. They are used in all technological devices that have been constantly improving the quality of life over the last few years – however small these devices are. The demand for microchips is becoming ever greater, and this can currently clearly be seen in the growth curve in the semiconductor market. Especially now, energy efficiency is becoming more important than ever in all areas. Today, semiconductors are already making a decisive contribution to the future, as they enable the intelligent exploitation of renewable energies. With its expert knowledge, valve manufacturer GEMÜ supplies the right products for the processes of semiconductor production.

The GEMÜ Semiconductor business unit focuses on pure and high-purity process media in the most varied areas of application. GEMÜ valves are used in state-of-the-art plants for semiconductor and microchip production. All over the world, semiconductor manufacturers rely on many years of experience in state-of-the-art valves, measurement and control systems. GEMÜ offers precisely the system solutions that are specifically developed and adapted for these processes – made, of course, to the latest valve designs and under ultra pure conditions.

GEMÜ products make a decisive contribution to one of the most important issues of our time, i.e. saving and storing energy. Everyone must stand up to climate change, and technologies like solar and wind power plants help us to do this. E-mobility must be further advanced, and nor can the targeted distribution of produced power through intelligent AI solutions be allowed to remain a thing of the future. The smallest common denominator of all these technologies is the microchip. And GEMÜ helps to produce it cost-efficiently.

GEMÜ has excellent references for using valves in areas of application that have high purity requirements. Whether process equipment, ultra pure chemical supply systems or else systems for filling batteries – the wide range offers the right solution for virtually all areas of semiconductor production.

The valve specialist develops and manufactures products and solutions in line with GEMÜ standards of quality not only in Germany, but also in Switzerland, the USA, China, Brazil and France. The production centres are equipped in line with the latest standards. High quality and expert advice likewise distinguish GEMÜ, thus offering customers a range of the highest level.

Digital transformation, Industry 4.0, renewable energies – GEMÜ valves are up to the challenges of the digital era. With CONEXO, GEMÜ offers an RFID system architecture that enables positive identification of wearing parts, paperless maintenance and process documentation. Using an integrated RFID chip, the valve components can be positively identified. Photo documentation or assessment schemes can be retrieved via an app. However, the app also offers the option of understanding the maintenance workflow step by step.

Curious now? Speak with experts from the GEMÜ Group. The GEMÜ team would like to have lively discussions with you, find out more about you and your business, and look towards the future together. You will find the GEMÜ exhibition booth at Semicon, hall C1, booth C1353, or you can agree an appointment via salesbusem@gemue.de
