The RFID WIP rack solution from HERMOS offers the possibility to equip grid racks with RFID functionality. This solution can be used for all common shelf types and sizes and allows retrofitting of existing shelves. The antenna heads are assembled directly on the shelf and connected to a central reading unit. The occupancy of a shelf space is detected by an integrated light sensor and automatically identified. Visualisation at the shelf locations is provided by a multi-coloured LED or an E-Ink display. The shelf status and
inventory changes can be displayed on a Panel PC.
Touch Panel PC (Optional)
Status information, shelf occupancy and other details can be displayed directly on the Touch Panel PC or transferred to the host.
Flexible Configuration
The system is suitable for existing grid racks and other rack types. Modular expansion is possible at any time. The number of rack positions and levels is flexible.
