  • Particle Measuring Systems (PMS), a global leader in contamination monitoring solutions, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a Silver EcoVadis Medal for its progress toward sustainability. The EcoVadis rating is a comprehensive assessment of a company’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices, and PMS received a score of 61/100, placing the company among the top 25 percent of companies assessed by EcoVadis.

    “Particle Measuring Systems strives to make the world cleaner, healthier, and more productive and a great place to work,” said John Mitchell, CEO of PMS. “I am very proud that we have been recognized with a silver EcoVadis Medal for this commitment to sustainability, a top priority for us in every location.”

    This was PMS’s first participation in the assessment. The survey provides specific recommendations for maintaining and improving the score for the following year’s assessment. PMS is committed to continuously identifying and implementing recommendations and improving its ESG practices.

    EcoVadis, has acknowledged PMS for its strong ethical business practices, renewable energy progress, and responsible waste reduction. Over the past few years, PMS has converted all of its sites to 100% renewable energy and is always looking for opportunities to improve its ESG. The Ecovadis assessment provided them with many recommendations that they will be prioritizing and implementing over the next years.

    The NanoAir 10’s size is 83% smaller than competitive products making it practical to use anywhere in ultra-clean environments, including inside semiconductor process tools and equipment front-end modules (EFEM). The innovative patent-pending working fluid handling system design is robust and efficient, enabling 24/7, 365 days continuous operation without the need for maintenance or user intervention of any kind between the annually required working fluid refill and calibration.   • Designed for intuitive and reliable aerosol particle counting, this newest addition to the PMS fleet supports a variety of applications while meeting international cleanroom certification standards in the recently released EU GMP Annex 1. Can be used for portable or remote/continuous particle courting.

    There are three levels of user access and security to prevent unauthorized changes. Additionally, the Audit Trail tracks and stores 30,000 entries so you know who, what, and when changes were made.

    Designed to be easy to use, the multi-gesture touchscreen interface and intuitive menu guide you through logical navigation and provide effortless learning and simple configuration. Specifically engineered for use where sanitization is required, the exterior of the Lasair Pro particle counter can be easily cleaned using a wide variety of disinfectants and cleaning agents.

    The Lasair Pro portable particle counter is highly adaptable, allowing you to program and manage all sampling activities locally or remotely. The unit can store up to 30,000 data samples and the collected data is securely saved locally, or transferred via ethernet or Wi-Fi. Transfer data to PMS DataAnalyst or PharmaceuticalNet Pro data management software, or to third-party systems via Modbus, to meet data integrity-related standards such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and EU GMP Annex 11. Additionally, securely configure up to 100 users on each instrument or use the NFC card capabilities for unlimited users. The Lasair Pro particle counter is currently available in 3 flow rates (25, 50, 100 LPM).

    Particle size ranges from 0.3-25 microns with two-channel mode for pharmaceutical use or user-selectable channels.

    • The Inline Lasair III 110 0.1 micron particle counter is perfect for critical locations where continuous, uninterrupted 0.1 micron monitoring is needed. Making this an ideal application for clean room monitoring, process tool monitoring, and filter testing.

    Both the inline and portable Lasair III 110 particle counters come with a full range of accessories for monitoring in different applications, including high-pressure gas with the Particle Measuring Systems’ High Pressure Diffusers. Both are also compatible with the Particle measuring systems Aerosol Manifold II to enabled clean room monitoring with a single counter.
