 Press Releases

  • The microelectronics market still has plenty of room for growth, especially for experienced Polish tech companies like AIUT, which can play a key role in building new semiconductor factories in Europe. The Polish industry is ready to provide professional support for launching investments in Europe, ensuring the global microelectronics sector can count on its expertise. Entrepreneurs united under Semicon Supply Poland will address this topic at SEMICON® EUROPA 2024.

The SEMICON® EUROPA trade fair, taking place from November 12–15, 2024, in Munich, Germany, together with electronica 2024, represents one of Europe’s most significant gatherings focused on electronics manufacturing. The global increase in semiconductor sales in 2024 underscores the event’s crucial importance for the European economy. Europe is set to host new investments from leading global microelectronics companies.

    – The investment climate is favorable for Poland, which, thanks to its technological base and strategic location, has the potential to become an ideal hub for semiconductor production targeting the European Union market. We understand that the microelectronics sector requires local infrastructure, experienced suppliers, contractors, and advanced engineering—in other words, a mature industrial ecosystem, which Polish companies united under Semicon Supply Poland are well-positioned to provide in Europe –  says Ewa Kubisiewicz-Boba, Marketing Director at AIUT. The company is Poland's largest industrial solutions integrator operating globally and a founding member of Semicon Supply Poland.

Poland brings strong competencies to support electronics production in Europe. Meet AIUT experts at SEMICON® EUROPA at booth EWE310.

The Polish EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) sector has the opportunity to play a key role in establishing comprehensive semiconductor production in Europe for global industry leaders. The stakes are high - the chip market, valued at $405.7 billion in 2020, is expected to exceed $773 billion by 2030. Representatives from AIUT and other companies in the Semicon Supply Poland (SSP) association will be showcasing their expertise and capabilities in automation and robotics for electronics manufacturing at SEMICON® EUROPA 2024 at the SSP industry booth, EWE310.

    – Large organizations from Asia have been investing and steadily expanding their businesses in Poland for years, showing that Polish companies are valued partners and an important gateway to the EU market for Asian entrepreneurs. As Polish businesses united under Semicon Supply Poland, we aim to demonstrate our readiness to support semiconductor production investments in Europe. In 2024, the global chip market experienced a strong resurgence, driven by the need to shorten supply chains. Polish companies, like AIUT, specializing in large-scale automation and production robotics, can offer Asian partners a fast and efficient start for their critical investments in Europe. This is precisely what we intend to discuss at SEMICON® EUROPA 2024 – concludes Ewa Kubisiewicz-Boba
