  • VD800 Compact Vacuum Meters
    Measuring Range Absolute 2000 to 5e-5 mbar | 1500 to 5e-5 Torr, Relative -1060 to +1200 mbar | -795 to +900 Torr Clean design, intuitive menu navigation, large data logger and precise measurement results....

  • Functioning 
    The VD800 vacuum meters measure absolute pressure in a large range of 2000 to 5e-5 mbar and additionally relative pressure in the range of -1060 to +1200 mbar. Their big graphic LCD display shows current measurement values and pressure graphs as well as minimum and maximum pressure with the 4+1 membrane keypad providing a comfortable, menu-driven operation. An integrated data logger saves multiple measurement series with their RTC data. With sampling rates from 20 ms to 60 s the instruments are not only of interest for fast vacuum processes but also for long-term monitoring. If required, an alarm function gives an optic or acoustic signal when reaching a defined threshold value.  

    Read-out and analysis of measurement values 
    The USB-C interface – or optional Bluetooth® LE for wireless data transfer – allows a direct read-out of the measured data and the export of measurement series stored in the data logger. Using the Thyracont VacuGraph™ software, the user is able to comfortably save and analyze the data as well as to start an online measurement.  

    Smart solutions 
    Intelligent energy management provides for a long battery performance of the VD800. Using a standard power supply users can swiftly charge their VD800 via its USB-C interface. The new modular design allows an easy exchange of contaminated or defective sensor heads by authorized personnel on-site, reducing maintenance time and costs to a minimum.  

    Compact, precise, flexible 
    The models: The VD800 is to be used with an external Thyracont USB transducer. It is thus ideally suited for applications with reduced space or to read-out numerous permanently installed sensors. The VD810 with a resistant ceramic sensor measures independent on gas type in the rough vacuum range. The Piezo/Pirani combination sensor of the VD850 covers a wide measuring range in rough and fine vacuum with highest precision and accuracy. 

    Variably applicable 
    The VD800 vacuum meters can be connected to vacuum pumps or plants, linked to external sensors or directly placed into vacuum chambers. Mobile use or permanent installation in vacuum plants – both are possible. The compact VD800 are perfect for service use, quality control and maintenance work or for leakage testing via rising-pressure method.

  • Digital interfaces

    All Smartline transducers have a RS485 interface and either an additional 0-10 V output, EtherCat or PROFINET interface.

    The Bluetooth adapter SLKBT enables wireless communication. By means of the RS485-USB interface converter vacuum transducers can be connected with a PC and configured.

    Additonally suitable vacuum controllers are available.

    Fit for Industry 4.0

    Be well prepared for the digital future with intelligent Smartline familiy vacuum gauges. All our PROFINET transducers can communicate with OPC UA servers. They support MRP and a bidirectional, lossless data transfer between all components from individual I/O Signals to the ERP level and even to the cloud. That provides an efficient way to manage downstream processes or optimize maintenance cycles (preventive maintenance).

    Durable sensors

    The Pirani with increased measuring range in the Thyracont sensor combination gauges controls the ionization sensors in such a way that they are only switched on at a very low pressure. This conserves the sensor technology and allows a long lifetime of the gauges. Alternatively, switch and transition ranges between the vacuum sensors are individually configurable.

    Robust and reliable

    The Pirani and cold cathode transducers are also available with a particularly high over pressure stability of 16 bar.  As a service for the higher overpressure stability, we offer a corresponding inspection certificate 3.1 inclusive of a test report.

    Useful replacement sensors

    Thanks to a plug-and-play solution with calibrated exchange sensors, a quick and easy replacement of defective sensor heads can be made simply by the user.  Time and cost for maintenance are thus reduced to a minimum.

    Compatibility to competitor products

    For the facile replacement of present transducers, the analogue output signal is adapted to the required characteristic of the competitor product. Corresponding mating plugs provide the physical compatibility of the Smartline transducers. The switching from a different gauge is thus fast and easy for the user.

    VacuGraph™ and VacuSniff™

    The VacuGraphTM vacuum software is the optimum tool to analyze, visualyze and save your measurement data. For a comfortable gauge configuaration there is even a free lite version of the software available. In combination with the Bluetooth adapter (SLKBT) the VacuGraphTM software can even be used on mobile devices (Android).  Furthermore, a free sniffer app, VacuSniffTM, can be found in the Playstore. VacuSniffTM allows for the mobile monitoring of up to 16 Smartline vacuum transducers at the same time. The app also features an alarm function.

  • Compact and economical

    Analogline transducers are ideally suited for applications where space is at a premium. At the same time the compact transducers offer an optimum price-performance ratio.

    Standard output signal

    The linear respectively logarithmic output signal of the transducers (4-20 mA or 0-10 V) can easily be read out by a plant control system (PLC). Vacuum controllers with 1 or 2 channels are available as well.

    Passive vacuum sensors

    The Pirani with durable, elasctic helix filament is also available as a passive vacuum sensor. The customer can choose between the connection via DN16 ISO-KF flange (VSP841) or 1/8" NPT male thread. On demand, we will gladly provide you with a proposal regarding the evaluation circuit.

    Simple and smart readjustment

    Thyracont has made readjustment at atmospheric pressure and zero pressure both simple and amazingly smart. It's simple because it involves only the push of a button. It's smart because the transducer recognizes automatically which adjustment point is relevant.

    Robust and reliable

    Analogline transducers persist in rough industrial environments. In addition to their robust metal housing, Analogline transducers are fitted with electrical connectors that offer IP54 protection class for 4-20 mA models or IP40 protection class on 0-10 VDC models. A service for extra high overpressure stability of 16 bar abs. including a testing certificate 3.1 is available for our Piranis.

  • Ultra-compact

    The miniaturized transducers are typically suited best for use in pumping devices, e.g., turbomolecular pumps, in analytical applications, and spectrometers.

    interfaces

    The measured pressure can be read out digitally via the serial RS485 or UART interface of the transducers.

    Precise results

    A fast response time of 5 ms and the excellent resolution of the transducers enable stable, short-cycled, and thus efficient production processes. The optimized individual temperature compensation provides for excellent accuracy and steady measuring values. Additionally, the devices allow precise digital readjustment to atmospheric or zero pressure, programming of the gas type correction factor, and retrieval of various parameters for preventive maintenance.

    Wide measuring range

    With their piezo/Pirani combination sensor, the PTL and PTR models measure in a wide range in rough and fine vacuum with high resolution and accuracy. Both measure absolute pressure in a range from 2000 to 5e-5 mbar, model PTR also relative pressure in a range from max. -1060 to +1200 mbar.
    Two additional versions with Pirani sensors will soon be added to the portfolio. The mini transducer PCP will measure absolute pressure in a range from 1000 to 5e-4 mbar, model PTP in a range from 1000 to 1e-4 mbar.

  • The range of instruments comprises controllers for one or two passive hot cathode ion gauges as well as various plug-in modules for operation of additional passive Pirani sensors VSP521/VSP841 or active 0-10V vacuum transducers. Suitable hot cathode ion gauges and accessories like thermocouple temperature sensors for bake-out control or gauge cables are also available.
