    Magnesium alloys are indeed the major driving force for global lightweight arena, but the material has its pitfalls. To date, the safe handling could only be accomplished with an inert gas. With the previous method, production of magnesium alloys cause high risk of oxidation. Inert gases such as sulfur hexafluoride (SF6), in turn, are extremely harmful to the environment due to the high CO2 levels. Korean Institute of Technology (KITECH) solved the problem with Eco-Magnesium. Eco-magnesium can be applied in various type of fields such as automobile, aerospace, electronics industry, etc.
