PEER Tool Orchestrator (PTO®) has a proven record of reducing an OEM’s tool development time, which has elevated it to be the most popular tool automation software platform for semiconductor, PV, LED, MEMS, and flat panel manufacturing. EIB® OEM Product Suite is a multi-connection, multi-protocol host connectivity software solution for equipment suppliers that reduces the cost of satisfying each factory’s diverse automation requirements. It is available in three versions:

- EIB GEM for 200mm SECS/GEM equipment communications
- EIB 300 for 300mm (GEM300) equipment communications
- EIB EDA for providing EDA (Interface A) data to factory host systems

EIB is easy to configure for any tool type and integrates to the equipment control system or devices using a variety of standard communication mechanisms such as ASCII, COM, .NET, SECS/GEM or custom protocols. EIB OEM also enables rapid integration using OPC and OPC-UA for PLC-based equipment that use HMI/SCADA software packages such as Modbus, Rockwell’s RSView32 and FactoryTalk View, Wonderware Intouch, GE’s Cimplicity and iFix, Siemen’s SIMATIC WinCC, and National Instrument’s Labview.

EIB EDA provides SEMI EDA with E164, enabling you to deliver real-time data on demand in high volumes without affecting equipment performance. It provides the pipe to Big Data, allowing you to turn collected information into action through advanced manufacturing application capabilities such as e-Diagnostics, SPC, APC, Fault Detection, Run-to-Run Control. EIB EDA is easy to configure. In a matter of days, EDA can be deployed on any type of equipment, allowing you to collect data   multiple sources. It’s easy to add. With configuration only (no coding), you can add EDA onto existing PEER Group solutions or onto any equipment providing a SECS host interface. It’s easy to integrate your ECS with our EDA software seamlessly, to create a fully-independent communications channel.

PFSC provides the fastest way to integrate tools into an automated factory. Based on our proven automation and control technology used by hundreds of OEMs to automate their tools, PFSC’s customizable and extensible platform simplifies the process of developing equipment interfaces and building station controllers for all tools on a manufacturing floor. PFSC provides a generic communication layer between equipment and factory systems like the MES. 

With PFSC, we have simplified station controller development, and we’ve made it easy to connect disparate systems and adapt to evolving equipment vendor changes and factory requirements. PFSC helps factories design and adapt lot management, data collection, and visualizations quickly and easily ? or go beyond traditional station controller capabilities and add analytics, expanded visualization of the factory with “control room” and OEE views, and lot dispatch or scheduling logic

The developers of CCS Envoy™ and SECSIM Pro®+ have created PEER FACTORY® Acceptance Tester (PFAT™), a next-generation host simulation product designed specifically for SECS/GEM-based manufacturing equipment. With its graphical test designer and real-time results tracker, users can design tests quickly to simulate a factory’s operational scenarios and pinpoint failures easily. Factories can accelerate test development across entire equipment lists while OEMs can re-use scenarios across multiple factories. PFAT can communicate directly with a tools control system or an independent software application for more rigorous software reliability testing. PFAT is the only product on the market that is designed to do comprehensive testing of SECS-based equipment to ensure production readiness. Both high-volume manufacturers and their suppliers use PFAT to find and solve problems on equipment to accelerate installation, increase equipment reliability, and avoid costly repairs in the field.
