Overview

Wonik QnC is a composite material parts maker founded in 1983 and specializes in manufacturing/supplying quartz ware used for semiconductor wafer production and ceramic ware for semiconductor and display production It was first listed on the KOSDAQ in 1997, then in 2003 it was split into Wonik and Wonik Quartz to develop business competence and improve management efficiency and transparency. The company name was changed from Wonik Quartz Co., Ltd. to Wonik QnC Co., Ltd. in 2012.

Wonik QnC has established and operated local subsidiaries in Taiwan, Germany, and the United States, as well as signed supply contracts with top domestic and international equipment suppliers with world-class technology. Wonik QnC will become the world's finest semiconductor material parts manufacturer in the Quartz & Ceramics industry.

  Products

  • Quartz ware
As the world's leading maker of quartz ware, we supply products to all of the world's top semiconductor corporations....

  • We provide our products to domestic semiconductor companies, such as Samsung Hynix, as well as to the world's leading semiconductor and equipment manufacturers. Using our technology, we also operate local production facilities in Taiwan and Germany, bolstering our position as the market leader in quartz ware manufacturing technology. We have been steadily developing quartz ware fine processing technology, welding assembly technology, and cleaning technology to solve issues such as particles, lifetime, and contamination of semiconductor parts caused by environmental changes such as plasma density and etching gas in the chamber for semiconductor manufacturing due to changes in devices (rule late).

  • Ceramic parts
Ceramic parts and structural ceramic parts for semiconductor equipment...

  • The Ceramic Division manufactures a variety of materials (Al2O3, Y2O3, YAG, SiC, AlN, Si3N4, ZrO2, BN) and internalizes all functional ceramic part manufacturing processes (ESC, Heater, Wafer Table). The Ceramic Division offers integrated precision ceramic part solutions for the semiconductor, OLED, and automotive industries.

  • Cleaning & Coating Service
The first-tier player in precise cleaning and coating of semiconductor parts....

  • The C&C Division is the leader in the semiconductor precision parts cleaning and coating industry due to its customer-centric quality management. We deliver semiconductor equipment parts that have been ultra-precisely cleaned and coated using state-of-the-art technology, based on solid trust in our customers' products and reliable systems. With ultra-precise cleaning utilizing various techniques based on the kind and shape of the process reaction products and coatings that generate highly functional films of rare earth oxide materials, we increase the life of products and realize the conditions of the semiconductor manufacturing process.

  • Optics parts
The Optics Division develops specialized light sources and application technologies. Manufacturing division for special lamps and essential parts for industrial use....

  • The Optics Division develops and manufactures unique light sources and components for use in processes such as cleaning, surface modification, and sterilization in the technology sector including semiconductor, display, medical, and environmental technologies. The 172nm excimer vacuum UV lamp used in the cleaning process, in particular, has reinforced the Division's position as the exclusive localization partner for Samsung Display and LG Display, as well as supplying products to FPD producers in China and Taiwan. In the semiconductor field, we are developing and supplying parts such as a chemical liquid heating device and wafer oxide layer removal device, and in the medical and environmental fields, dental implant surface treatment using a wavelength of 172 nm, and a sterilization device that can directly irradiate light onto the human body using a wavelength of 222 nm. The Lamp Division will grow into a division specializing in the development of localization parts and light source technology.
