  • 797PCP-2K Progressive Cavity Pumps
Continuous volumetric meter mix dispensing for two-component (2K) fluids provides industry-leading process control for manufacturers.
    ...

  • Nordson EFD’s 797PCP-2K Series pumps precisely meter accurate ratios of part A and part B materials through static mixers for highly repeatable dispensing with fluid deposit accuracy at +/- 1%.

With a modular design that consists of two 797PCP-2K pumps and a manifold that accommodates a wide range of EFD’s disposable Series 190 spiral and Series 295 square Turbo mixers, Nordson EFD offers a total system solution backed by 50+ years of two-component fluid dispensing expertise.

This allows us to test your application in our global application labs and recommend the right two-component dispensing system, which can save time and costs when it comes to implementation.

797PCP-2K progressive cavity pumps come in three sizes – 0.01 mL, 0.05 mL, and 0.15 mL. This allows for multiple mix ratios for a wide range of applications.

Perfectly sealed metering chambers allow for continuous volumetric dispensing independent of fluid viscosity or changes in viscosity over time, making the pump system ideal for applying two-part epoxies. The continuous seal prevents shear, pulsation, and squeezing of fluid, which simplifies abrasive material dispensing.

    Features and Benefits

    • Highly precise, continuous volumetric dispensing with 2K fluid volume accuracy at +/- 1% for exceptional process control
    • Modular design for multiple mix ratios and use in many different types of applications
    • Compatibility with a wide range of EFD static mixers simplifies implementation
    • Programmable suck-back provides more accurate dispensing without dripping or drooling

    Compatible Fluids

    • Acrylics
    • Epoxies
    • RTVs and sealants
    • Silicones
    • Urethanes

The complete system includes two 797PCP-2K volumetric dispensing pumps, a manifold, a touchscreen ValveMate 7197PCP-2K or two 7197PCP-DIN controllers, two fluid reservoirs, and a bayonet static mixer. Integrate with an EFD automated dispensing system for even faster throughput.

EFD bayonet static mixers deliver complete and thorough mixing for superior mix quality and bond strength. They come in multiple lengths, diameters, and with various outlet styles. Some feature luer lock adapters for attaching dispensing tips.

A standard 797PCP pump is also available for precise volumetric dispensing of one-component fluids in automated assembly processes.

7197PCP-DIN-NX controller is available for Smart Factory integration. It allows communication with a PLC or other manufacturing plant controllers using TCP/IP via Ethernet.

  • PICO XP Jetting System
The PICO XP jetting system takes the guesswork out of how to achieve the same extremely precise (XP), repeatable non-contact micro-dispensing from valve-to-valve, after maintenance, and as temperatures rise or fall....

  • Micron (µm) level stroke adjustment and unique self-regulating calibration allow this revolutionary jetting system to meet unprecedented levels of fluid dispensing repeatability over long periods of time, regardless of environmental factors.

Manufacturers sometimes see variation in dispensing performance when there is even a slight change in the tolerance of a jet valve’s internal geometry. Therefore, one jet valve may produce a slightly different dispensing outcome than another with the same dispense settings. This is also why dispensing outcomes can sometimes change after a fluid body is removed, cleaned for maintenance, and then returned to the valve.

The PICO XP jetting system’s proprietary self-regulating calibration technology controls for variations in fluid body tolerance to maintain the same micro-dispensing repeatability from valve-to-valve and after maintenance.

Its one-of-a-kind sustained stroke target seeking allows it to self-adjust to maintain its micron (µm) level stroke setting for long periods regardless of environmental conditions, such as ambient temperature changes that can alter dispense results over time.

The system includes a PICO Pµlse XP jet valve and PICO Toµch XP controller with an intuitive touchscreen interface for simplified set up. It can apply micro-deposits as small as 0.5 nL at speeds up to 1000Hz (deposits per second) continuously.

The valve’s quick-release clasp allows for tool-free removal of the fluid body for simplified cleaning of the fluid path, which saves manufacturers time during maintenance.

And the valve can be outfitted with one of several fluid bodies available with different properties and orifice sizes to meet manufacturers’ unique and versatile application requirements.

    Features and Benefits

    • XP self-regulating calibration for improved valve-to-valve dispensing repeatability and repeatability after maintenance
    • Sustained stroke target seeking for maintaining dispensing repeatability regardless of environmental conditions
    • Micron (µm) level stroke adjustment for fine-tuning jetting performance for a wide range of applications
