  • The R&S®ZNH is a full two-port handheld vector network analyzer (VNA) that offers one-port cable and antenna measurement and full two-port S-parameter measurements. The touch based interface simplifies operation and a configuration overview menu makes measurement preparation more efficient. The R&S®ZNH may have a small form factor, but it is complete in every detail and delivers high performance and all the key functionalities. 

    Maintaining the operation of RF communications systems requires fast identification of any defects in the system components. The R&S®ZNH is a multifaceted handheld vector network analyzer. It can perform one-port cable and antenna measurements and four S-parameter measurements up to 26.5 GHz. The VNA is ideal for tasks such as antenna system installation and maintenance. The R&S®ZNH offers flexible and straightforward operation. Depending on the application, it can be operated either via its 7" capacitive touchscreen (no display calibration required) or the keypad. The touchscreen enables users to adjust the most common settings, such as parameter settings, and manage markers with smartphone-like gestures.   • The R&S®SMCV100B vector signal generator features a new direct RF DAC concept for RF signal generation. This concept enables I/Q modulation and upconversion in the digital domain, which eliminates the I and Q imbalance errors and LO leakage associated with traditional analog I/Q modulators.

    The R&S®SMCV100B options concept is fully software defined. No hardware options are required to obtain full instrument functionality. This software concept applies to upgrading the RF frequency, memory, I/Q modulation bandwidth and all other R&S®SMCV100B options for other applications. 

    Thanks to its flexible and customizable design, the instrument is ready to meet future requirements.   • Thanks to their extremely high accuracy and fast load recovery time, the R&S®NGU source measure units (SMU) are perfect for challenging applications. A special ammeter design is used to precisely measure current drains from nA to A in one pass – no need to make multiple measurement sweeps. The instruments’ short recovery times enable them to handle fast load changes that occur, for example, when mobile communications devices switch from sleep mode to transmit mode. With high speed data acquisition, every detail is detected down to 2 μs resolution. The R&S®NGU source measure units provide two- or four-quadrant architecture, allowing them to function both as a source and a sink to simulate batteries and loads.

    The two-quadrant R&S®NGU201 and the four-quadrant R&S®NGU401 provide up to 60 W of output power and sink power, respectively. The channels are floating, galvanically isolated and protected against overload and short circuits. With six measurement ranges for current and a resolution of up to 6½ digits when measuring voltage, current and power, the R&S®NGU source measure units are perfect for characterizing devices that work from extremely low power consumption to high currents in the ampere range. Using ammeters with feedback-amplifier technology increases accuracy and widens the sensitivity down to the nA range. With an acquisition rate of up to 500000 samples per second, even extremely fast variations in voltage or current can be captured.

    The instruments provide fast load recovery time of < 30 µs combined with minimum overshoot even during a demanding load change. The linear design of the output stages allows the R&S®NGU source measure units to operate as a source and sink with minimum residual ripple and noise. The two-quadrant R&S®NGU201 source measure unit is a new member in the family of wireless communications test instruments, mainly designed to supply devices under test with extremely low sleep currents, such as Bluetooth® low energy devices.

  • The R&S®SpectrumRider FPH is a versatile, user-friendly instrument in a rugged and appealing design. Most of the basic models have a unique frequency extension concept via keycode. The analyzer supports a wide frequency range up to 44 GHz.

    The R&S®SpectrumRider FPH is designed to suit both field and lab applications in indoor and in outdoor environments.
