  • PICO XP Jetting System
    The PICO XP jetting system takes the guesswork out of how to achieve the same extremely precise (XP), repeatable non-contact micro-dispensing from valve-to-valve, after maintenance, and as temperatures rise or fall....

    • Manufacturers sometimes see variation in dispensing performance when there is even a slight change in the tolerance of a jet valve’s internal geometry. Therefore, one jet valve may produce a slightly different dispensing outcome than another with the same dispense settings. This is also why dispensing outcomes can sometimes change after a fluid body is removed, cleaned for maintenance, and then returned to valve.

     

    The PICO XP jetting system’s proprietary self-regulating calibration technology controls for variations in fluid body tolerance to maintain the same micro-dispensing repeatability from valve-to-valve and after maintenance.

    • Nordson EFD UltimusPlus™ fluid dispensers provide next level process control for advanced applications of glues, oils, greases, epoxy, silicones, sealants, cyanoacrylates, solder pastes, and other assembly fluids dispensed with syringe barrels manually or on automated systems.

     

    Manual Applications

    Simplify setup and operation with advanced touchscreen control of dispensing parameters. UltimusPlus is so easy to use it allows users to focus on making accurate, controlled deposits. Plus, full operator lockout of time, pressure, and vacuum settings prevents operator-to-operator variability between shifts.

     

    Automated Applications

    Because the dispenser features NX capability, it is remotely accessible. This allows it to be monitored and controlled from a personal computer, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), and any plant controller that uses Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) to communicate via Ethernet.

     

    UltimusPlus I

    This unit features a 0.7-7.0 bar (10-100 psi) pressure regulator and is ideal for dispensing a wide range of fluids.

     

    UltimusPlus II

    This unit features a 0.02-1.0 bar (0.3-15 psi) pressure regulator and provides greater control when dispensing low-viscosity or thin fluids.

    Nordson EFD’s 797PCP Series pumps dispense an exact volume of fluid as small as 0.01 mL per revolution for manufacturing applications that require a high level of process control.

    Highly precise fluid volume accuracy and repeatability at +/- 1% gives you assurance that the volume you need to dispense is applied within the tolerance you need, every time.

    Our 797PCP pumps provide continuous volumetric dispensing independent of fluid viscosity or changes in viscosity over time for market-leading repeatability.

    Ideal for Abrasive and UV-cure Fluids

    The pump’s modular design is based on the progressive cavity principal where its core components – a rotor and a stator – form a perfectly sealed metering chamber. Its continuous seal prevents shear, pulsation, and squeezing of fluid. This makes the 797PCP system ideal for dispensing abrasive pastes, filled materials, and UV-cure adhesives.

    The 797PCP comes in three sizes – 0.01 mL, 0.05 mL, and 0.15 mL – for use in a wide range of applications in automotive, electronics, medical devices, and other industries.

    • Overview

    Available in 3cc, 5cc, 10cc, 30cc, 55cc, and 70cc capacities, Nordson EFD syringe barrels are molded from a proprietary blend of polypropylene to provide exceptional clarity and chemical compatibility.

    The 70cc syringe barrels are our largest size. They allow production lines to run longer with fewer fluid changeovers, reducing downtime. These barrels are ideal for electronic applications such as underfill, potting, and conformal coating.

    Nordson syringe barrels and pistons are manufactured in EFD’s own certified silicone-free facilities in the United States and are certified for industrial use.
