CORTEX ROBOTICS LAUNCHES THE NEW GEN OF WAFER AOI-ALPHA SERIES WFI-30 FOR PRE & POST SAW INSPECTION PROCESSES
Penang- Malaysia- "We are excited to announce the release of our new generation of Alpha Series WFi-30 Wafer Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) for inspection of wafer dies pre and post dicing process in a single machine. We recognise the criticality of finding minute defects such as micro cracks and chipping which were introduced during dicing. Our AOI solution features advanced imaging technology which packs both Measurement & Cosmetic functions that capable to detect defects as small as 0.5-0.8um in crack width, on die size as small as 300 microns, on frame wafers, grip ring, hoop ring film the frame carrier, with 6”,8” & 12” wafer sizes.
The key highlights of WFI-30 includes;
- Detection of defects: unseparated dies, offset cut, missing edge, meandering, chipping, crack, chipping, slant cut, and other cosmetic defects.
- Choices of precision level via objective magnification Switching.
- Auto wafer warpage compensation.
- Auto map alignment for both fiducials or non-fiducial wafer dies.
- Auto correct on missing rows, shearing, die shedding due to frame film expansion.
- Realtime map result display.
- Core industrial file standards support.
The AOI is available in different models with different features & WPH speeds, available models range from lower end WFI-31, WFI-33, WFI-35.
