Today Emerson and its business units have more than 800 employees in the country, including more than 100 trained engineers who provide specialized services for this growing market.

Control and measurement technologies and system solutions from Emerson Automation Solutions are helping Malaysia’s energy sector and other process manufacturing industries operate efficiently and safely. When elevators in Kuala Lumpur needed to be upgraded to meet new government energy efficiency standards, companies turned to us for an integrated solution designed for elevators which includes regeneration drives and high-efficiency electric motors. The Emerson solution greatly increases energy efficiency and reduces deployment complexity.
Emerson and its business units have offices in Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya, Penang, Miri, Johor Bahru, Kota Kinabalu, Nilai and Puchong. In addition, Emerson Process Management has two manufacturing facilities in Nilai, Malaysia. The Nilai facility, which manufactures and assembles Fisher valve products for industrial use, it is Emerson’s largest valve manufacturing plant in Asia.
