    Accurate C-V Characterization

  • The EA-10000 Series of DC power supplies and electronic loads brings a host of capabilities and efficiencies to your application. Active power factor correction minimizes waste drawn from your power grid. Bidirectional regenerative supplies recover energy and feed it back into the grid with >96% efficiency. True autoranging allows the delivery of maximum power along a wider range of voltage and current values. A suite of optional control interfaces allow computer control in near any manufacturing environment.

    PS and PSI Models

    The PS and PSI models focus on delivering power without the ability to sink power as a load. The base power supply models (PS) offer true autoranging, a 100% SiC-based design, and 4 different control modes of constant voltage, current, power, or resistance. Power supplies can also be paralleled with up to 64 total instruments to bring even more power to your application.

    The Intelligent power supply models (PSI) include all the features of the PS models and add an integrated function generator with basic waveform and arbitrary capability. Special photovoltaic and automotive test procedures for standards like EN 50530 and LV123, LV124, and LV148 also come with PSI models.

    PSB and ELR Models

    The Bidirectional Power Supply models (PSB) include all the features of the PSI models, and add the capability to sink (absorb) power and return that power to the local grid. Sourcing and sinking power from the same box saves you valuable space, and the PSB models’ >96% efficiency in returning energy to the grid saves money in electrical and cooling costs. The PSB models are the most flexible solution in the EA-10000 Series.

    When sourcing isn’t required and you only need to sink power, the regenerative electronic load models (ELR) are the clear choice. The ELR models capture up to 96% of the current they sink and feed that power back into the local grid, reducing heat, noise, and HVAC costs to save operational expenses. The ELR models retain the built-in waveform generator and special test procedure modes of the PSI and PSB models as well.

    Industrial Series

    For the highest energy density needs and future-oriented applications, the EA-10000 Industrial Series is available. 6U form factors offer up to 60kW of power, and 19” rack solutions mean you can deliver 300kW of power from only 0.6 m2 of floor space. Combine up to 13 racks for 3.84MW of bidirectional power delivery and recovery. The industrial series are available as a base power supply (PU), bidirectional power supply (PUB), and regenerative electronic load (EUL)
