Overview

Miconx is an exciting new series introduced by Minox for the semiconductor industry.

At Minox, customer satisfaction comes first. To achieve a standard of purity and vacuum in semiconductor industry, MICONX components are inspected thoroughly by internal controls - from selection of the raw materials to each individual manufacturing process to the finished product. 

Our quality assurance guarantees the complete traceability of our products. We provide the end-to-end technical documentations such as material and test certificates to customer.


SURFACE QUALITY
Surface finish is an essential part for high purity industry applications. With our capability in mechanical and electrochemical surface treatments, we offer optimal quality of inner surfaces from bright annealed (BA) to electropolished (EP).

BA finish is produced by heat treatment giving a bright and reflective appearance. It has now become common to use EP finish by removing a thin layer of material from stainless steel part. The process improves surface finish, corrosion resistance and achieves passivation. Our guaranteed surface roughness of BA finish is 0.51µm or less, and that of EP finish is 0.25µm or less.


CLEANLINESS STANDARD
MICONX components guarantee the cleanliness and purity for semiconductor applications. Our cleanrooms conform to Class 1000 (ISO Class 6) environment for cleaning and packaging area. All components are cleaned with heated deionized water and nitrogen assuring the product integrity for process reliability. Each single tube and fitting is purged with high purity nitrogen, capped on both ends, sealed in a single or double polybags in our cleanroom.
