    FEED & EPC for Gulf Coast Growth Venture’s 1.1 MTA Monoethylene Glycol Unit

    This is by far the world’s largest modularized Monoethylene Glycol (MEG) plant, a record contributed in part by CTCI. The plant is made with processing modules, which are fabricated in various regions worldwide and then shipped to site destination in the US for assembly. One of the benefits of modularization is cutting construction time at the final site. CTCI team overcame weather and human resource challenges to deliver the project on time and with supreme quality, earning high praise from the owner. This project marks a new milestone in CTCI’s modularization capabilities and paves the way for securing major contracts in the US.

    Steam Cracker EPC Package 1 for Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company (ORPIC)’s Liwa Plastics Industrial Complex

    One of the challenges of this project is that many constructions are happening simultaneously. With superb project management capabilities, CTCI successfully integrated engineering interfaces and overcame such challenge, reaching 77 million safe man-hours record. CTCI was highly praised by the owner for its performance.     Water and wastewater treatment

    CTCI has completed multiple EPC projects for wastewater treatment plants in a variety of industries, covering refineries and other petrochemical plants, industrial mills, high-tech industrial plants, as well as municipal wastewater. Leveraging our experience in wastewater treatment, we later extended our service to include wastewater reclamation for both municipal and industrial clients, allowing wastewater to be recycled and reused.

    Within the last 20 years, CTCI offers a comprehensive service for energy from waste industries, covering project development, investment, consultancy, EPC work, O&M service, and waste management service through the integration of resources from subsidiaries and affiliates.     Air pollution control

    For nearly 30 years, CTCI's Air Pollution Control team has focused on improving the implementation of technology to reduce waste gas from large utilities and industrial facilities. CTCI has a track record of cooperating with industry leading boiler, desulfurization, and electrostatic Precipitator, desulfurization, and electrostatic Precipitator equipment manufacturers and catalyst vendors to supply selective catalytic reduction (SCR) De-NOx systems and flue gas desulphurization (FGD) De-SOx facilities and particle removal de-dust systems across Taiwan, Mainland China, Thailand, the Philippines, and the US for the past 26 years. In addition, the Air Pollution Control Systems (AQCS) technology provided by the turnkey projects already undertaken has become a target.

    Taipei MCT Wanda Line (Phase I) E&M System, AFC, and Trackworks Project

    CTCI was awarded WanDa Line (Phase I) E&M System, AFC, and Trackworks Project from Department of Rapid Transit System (DORTS), Taipei City Government by joining hands with the French multinational company ALSTOM Transport S.A. and Alstom Brasil Energia e Transporte Ltda. The phase I of the contract consists of nine underground stations and one depot and is 9.5 km long (including 700 m for branch line). This is a system-wide E&M contract, whose scope encompasses rolling stock, signaling (platform screen doors included), power supply, communication, automatic fare collection system, trackworks, depot equipment, and Project Management and System Integration. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2027 which is a medium capacity driverless transit system, and will provide a safe and easy access of transportation to passengers going to/from Taipei City and Zhonghe District,Tucheng District of New Taipei City.

    Power Supply System Project for Taichung Rapid Transit Systems

    CTCI was awarded the power supply system contract for Taichung Rapid Transit Systems in April 2011. The approximately 16.71 km route has 16 elevated stations, 2 ground stations, 2 bulk supply substations (BSS), and 1 five-level depot. The route links the Taichung THSR Station and the Taichung City center, which connects the Beitun, North, Xitun, Nantun, South, and Wuri Districts in Taichung City, providing an efficient and fast means of transportation for riders while effectively relieving traffic jams.

    Singapore Mass Rapid Transit Downtown Line Stage 3 Trackwork Project

    CTCI won the trackwork contract for Singapore’s Mass Rapid Transit Downtown Line Stage 3 project in February 2011. The approximately 21km route length with 16 stations aims to provide efficient and fast travel for commuters from the eastern sector of the island to the city centre. The line, due to open in 2017, will provide a viable alternative for commuters seeking to switch to rail transport from cars, and help relieve stress on the already heavily congested road network. In the face of an extremely challenging schedule, CTCI was able to achieve all the monthly project milestones on time. In addition, CTCI received two Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) awards from the client for its excellent safety track record and construction safety standards.

    Taoyuan International Airport Baggage Handling System Solutions

    CTCI worked closely with Taoyuan International Airport Company (TIAC) to deliver an intelligent automated baggage handling solution that enabled TIAC to effectively manage rapid passenger growth.

    Taipei MCT Circular Line North and South Sections E&M System, AFC, and Trackworks Project

    CTCI Corporation has won a contract with consortium partner Alstom, global leader in sustainable mobility, to provide system-wide electrical and mechanical (E&M) works for Taipei Metro’s circular line north and south sections. The 20.66-km circular line north and south sections categorized as medium capacity driverless transit include 18 underground stations and a depot. Once completed in 2031, they will join the current section of circular line in operation to form an outer ring linking red, blue, orange, green, brown lines, and Taoyuan Metro Airport Line, bringing convenient means of transport to people living in Greater Taipei Area. The scope of contract includes driverless rolling stock, track work, depot equipment, system integration, power supply, telecommunication, ticketing, platform screen doors, and monitoring system.

    Taichung Power Plant No. 1~10 Coal Handling System Improvement Project

    CTCI, Taiwan's largest EPC lump sum contractor has recently been awarded Taichung Power Plant No. 1~10 Coal Handling System Improvement Project from Taipower followed its No. 1-4 AQCS Retrofit contract acquired in 2015 with solid track records in executing EPC projects worldwide. The Project is scheduled to be completed by mid-2025. With the completion of this project, the ambient air quality standards are expected to be effectively improved, providing better living environment to residents of central Taiwan. The Taichung power plant ranks the second in coal-fired power plants globally, and is Taiwan’s largest power plant, which is a major source of power supply for households and industrial use. The project aim to eliminate the coal dust emission of the existing open coal yard and the problem of running out of dry coal stock in raining days. Moreover, this would resolve the current bottleneck of coal storage and mixing coal of Taichung Power Plant, hence meeting the future operation needs.

    Mitsui Outlet Park LinKou MEP project

    CTCI SEC undertook the Mitsui Outlet Park LinKou MEP project in June, 2014. It is the Northern Taiwan’s largest outlet mall, with a base area of 67,400 square meters and a total floor area of 140,038 square meters. It is a hybrid mall comprised of 200 stores, rich in variety. They include outlet shops, supermarkets, restaurants and a cinema complex. From B1 to 5F the complex provides a good place for people to dine, buy goods and relax. In addition, it has created 2,000 job opportunities locally, while appealing to many foreign companies as an invest opportunity. Mitsui Outlet Park Linkou has been officially operating since Jan. 27th, 2016. It is the Mitsui Fudosan Group’s first project in Taiwan. The mall was developed by Sanxin Outlets Co., Ltd., a joint venture formed by Mitsui Fudosan and Farglory Land Development Co., Ltd, a core enterprise of the Farglory Group, which has launched a series investment projects providing various cooperative opportunities in Taiwan.
