While for engineering services Sophic offer customers IC assembly & test engineering onsite support and services at a complete range of processes, such as die sort, chip attach, epoxy and lid attach, burn-in test, class test, and system level tests. Over the years, our product engineering services have developed value-added capability to support customers’ new product launches through post-silicon validation, the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, and software development to improve product quality, in addition to productivity and efficiency.

• MDEC's Luncheon Event: A Gathering of Digital Innovators (Apr 19, 2025)

  We are excited to share that we recently attended a Luncheon Event organized by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC). The event was graced by the Minister of Digital from the Government of Malaysia, along with representatives from the Digital Department, MDEC, Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB), and numerous prominent technology companies including Greatech, Pentamaster, ViTrox, Oppstar, Infinecs, Aemulus, Skyechip, Cortex Robotics, Easyparcel, and Exabytes.

  This event provided a platform for dynamic discussions on crucial topics such as the Ministry’s priorities, digital transformation strategies, the nurturing of STEM talent, developments in the semiconductor industry, and new initiatives to further advance the nation’s digital economy.

  The gathering was a remarkable opportunity to engage with industry leaders and exchange valuable insights. The collaborative spirit and the wealth of knowledge shared will undoubtedly contribute to driving Malaysia's digital agenda forward.

• Engineering Entrepreneurship Technology, Project & Innovation Technology Exhibition (EETPIX) 2024 at TAR UMT (May 05, 2025)

  On 16th May 2024, Sophic Automation Sdn. Bhd (SASB) was involved as part of the sponsorship on Engineering Entrepreneurship Technology, Project & Innovation Technology Exhibition (EETPIX) 2024 at TAR UMT targeted at invoking entrepreneurial spirit among TAR UMT students. Our CEO being an entrepreneur himself participated in this event and gave an interesting talk on “Creating Sustainable Value From Innovation”

  We set up an Industry Booth which enabled active participative networking opportunity, discussions on potential future collaborations with TAR UMT and the career development opportunities for the students in the form of internship and job placements . The interest was high as Sophic was focused on the current relevant Emerging and High Technology Connected Solution in the area of Advance Robotic, Automation and AI based Software Solutions. TAR UMT engineering students showcased their projects in a form of competition among peer group. The feedback received from judges and visitors provided valuable insights into areas to enhance the student technical skills for further improvement and future research.

  In conclusion this event was very meaningful for both SASB and the TAR UMT student, great knowledge sharing and value add collaboration between Industry and Academic Institutes. SASB truly grateful for the support from our team members and TAR UMT organizing committee on inviting Sophic to EETPIX 2024, and we look forward for future collaboration with TAR UMT.
