MudaX is a patented innovative direct trolley burn-in oven & method that eliminates most of the common problems faced by burn-in operations, namely:
- Manual burn-in board transfer processes
- Damaged burn-in boards
- System damage & low burn-in loader/unloader efficiency as a result of high socket failures on burn-in boards
Though a retrofit, or replacement of the existing oven (80% reuse of test electroincs), the burn-in board trolley, which forms a part of the MudaX oven, can be transferred between the burn-in oven & burn-in loader/unloader directly, without manaul transfer of burn-in boards.
As a result, non value-added manual transfer activity, which is the main cause of burn-in board damage is eliminated, thereby reducing system damage & improving burn-in loader/unloader efficiency.
Besides the above, embracing MudaX is also a step towards lights off burn-in. Progressively, burn-in operations may move from manual (Human) trolley transfer to hybrid (Human+AGV) trolley transfer & eventually to fully automated trolley transfer (AGV). Fall back to hybrid or manual transfer is also fail safe, avoiding catastrophic failures faced by typical fully automated systems where failures means complete a line down.
