  • The annual Tainan Automatic Machinery & Intelligent Manufacturing Show in southern Taiwan is taking place. Grintimate, the owner of advanced patented hydrostatic spindle technology, is going to show their popular (CAC-055) Hydrostatic Cylindrical Angular Grinding Machine and the (GRC-060) Horizontal Hydrostatic Rotary Surface Grinder, which are excellent for high precision processing. This grinding solution provider will also be highlighted during this exhibition.

    Grintimate is an advanced form of hydrostatic spindle technology. All of the standard models are equipped with hydrostatic high-precision spindle, providing high-precision, high-quality, low-wear, environmentally friendly machine tools. The CAC-series that are going to be displayed at this exhibition are equipped with the Japanese-made THK high-precision ball screws to prevent the backslash feeding and greatly enhance the accuracy of functions. The stable one-piece mechanical structure and specially designed of grinding wheel has excellent grinding precision on any type of outer surface, taper surface, forming outer surface, R surface, grooved surface and end-face surface.

    The standard Grintimate horizontal hydrostatic rotary surface table, is specially designed for precision grinding processing, and is equipped with a hydrostatic spindle and a hydrostatic rotary table, with the characteristics of high rigidity, high vibration resistance without any stick-slipping; the spindle and rotary table accuracy can easily reach 1μm; the static rigidity is greater than 400 kgf and the table maintains a load capacity of >10,000 kg, which is very suitable for hard and fragile material and mirror surface grinding processing. This model has received high evaluation results after being launched in 2019, and has become a widely accepted Grintimate product.

    The GRC-series not only use high quality component parts, but the most personalized design is equipped with a CNC Mitsubishi controller, with human-machine interface (HMI) that features having rapid communication and convenient controlling for user-friendly operation. The actuarial correction of software and precision planning of linear sub-micro feeding can easily achieve the grinding requirements simply by inputting the data into the program. In order to improve the operation efficiency, the critical component parts are modular-designed to lower the maintenance time and greatly enhance the utilization rate.

  • The increasing use of 5G and electric car worldwide has correspondingly led to a gradually increasing SIC application. The main manufacturing processes of Silicon wafer undergo rough grinding or polishing before administering chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) for lapping and grinding, but both  have advantages and disadvantages. The former could easily cause scratches on the surface that will lower the quality of the product and its efficiency, and the latter does not have excellent efficiency or eliminate surface roughness. In order to solve the problems, Grintimate has launched the Horizontal Hydrostatic Rotary Surface Grinder (GRC-series) to provide solutions.

    The standard Horizontal Hydrostatic Rotary Surface Grinder (GRC-series) is equipped with a hydrostatic spindle and a hydrostatic rotary table, with characteristic high-rigidity and high-vibration resistance, and not having any friction or stick-slipping , supporting ecentric stress and high centrifugal force processing, the spindle and work table accuracy could easily reach <1μm, the rotary table maintains a load capacity of >10,000kg, and the optimized stability of hydrostatics could not only greatly improve on avoiding scratches and maintaining grinding efficiency, but also prolong service life to greatly lower maintenance costs as well as enhance machine function stability-during operation, which is very suitable for hard and fragile material processing, such as Sic, Alumina, Zirconia, Porous Ceramics and Chuck Table, among others.

    For grinding and dressing software, the machinery is quipped with a standard Mitsubishi / Fanuc controller , with a human-machine interface(HMI), which features rapid communication and convenient user-friendly controlling for operations so that the operator could quickly become acquainted with the machine , which could greatly shorten the time for programming and adjustment, and reduces the error incidence rate when editing, and thus, allowing to achieve rapid communication and enhancing the utilization rate.

    The appearance design of the GRC-series has a cylindrical sheet metal design, providing optimized absorption efficiency of oil mist to contribute to environmental protection. The streamlined appearance design and the rotary table height is in accordance with user-friendly ergonomics and convenience during loading or uploading.

    Our CDC series is standard equipped with our hydrostatic spindle, is highly suitable for high precision grinding and super mirror grinding, especially for those demanding super high standard on processing ....

    • All major components of our machine-the base work head, tailstock, wheel head-have been designed with the help of the computational fluid dynamics(CFD) model and Lattice Boltmann Method(LBM).     Our CTS-series, standard equipped with hydrostatic spindle and guideway, with max.300mm width wheel and HMI interface to reach one-feeding grinding(max.15 steps), results in being very suitable for application in automatic gear shaft processing....

    • We guarantee a circularity of <2μm and a cylindricity of <2.5μm for one-feed grinding of workpieces up to 300mm.
    • High-stiffness hydrostatic spindle is standard equipment, so it is not necessary to add and auxiliary bearing at the front of the main spindle.
    • Double-sided synchronous drive and synchronized operation of headstock and tailstock on a workpiece are optional that can be configured to work with robotic arms.
