  • MESOSCOPE Technology announces to Step ahead to Mass production Angstrom-meter Probes

    Dear customers:

    Mesoscope Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Mesoscope) is the world's leading manufacturer of nano-scale metalic probes. Since MESOSCOPE started from July of 2006, we continuously persevere in “Reliable” ,” Precise” and “Improving” ( R.P.I. Vitality ) to be our company spirit to develop and provide irreplaceable solution to worldwide semiconductor territory. To be the forerunner of nano probe and device failure analysis, innovate the meothods of semiconductor's measurement which to solve the obstacles to the development of advanced manufacturing processes and enhance Taiwan’s international status.

    Till to the end of 2021, Mesoscope has successfully developed and mass-produced up to 14 probes of different sizes, which can be widely applied in different fields, from packaged level measurement to transistor characteristic measurement. Its state-of-the-art CR1 (Curvature Radius 1nm) probe can be used for failure analysis technology processes below 2nm.

    In predicting the evolution of future semiconductor product architectures, Moore's Law will be still consisted. In the future, the number of transistors per unit area will continuously to be increased due to the large demand for high-performance computing, neural networks, quantum computers, and autonomous driving. After long-term research and development, Mesoscope's R&D team has successfully used M.S.T. technology to overcome the difficulty of fabrication and succeed to push manufacturing technology to produce the probes from nanometer scale to the angstrom scale. With enormous step-ahead, MESOSCOPE has capability to mass productionable CR7Å (curvature radius of 7 Å, referred to as CR7A) and CR5Å (curvature radius of 5 Å, referred to as CR5A).

    Compare to CR1, CR7A and CR5A has higher width depth value. The width depth value of CR5A is 12, that is 40% smaller than CR1. Compare to the other technology of manufacturing, M.S.T. technology can keep the structure of material in harmless and shrink the apex dimension to Angstrom level in stable. With above features, the tenacity of probe is much better than the other methodologies.
