  • Microprogram and its industry partner, Winifred, participated in SEMICON Taiwan this year, exhibiting Smart Robot Blade/Fork and Smart Vibration Monitoring solutions. Among them, Smart Robot Blade/Fork is an exclusive product designed and patented by Microprogram and its partners. After its debut at last year's show, it immediately attracted active inquiries from industry players. The "Ultra-thin Production Line Detector" which is only 3mm thick, will also be exhibited for the first time at this year's SEMICON. Given that it can access more of the process machinery and does not require disassembly for measurement, it is anticipated to become another new product of interest in the market.

     

    Enhancing semiconductor process yields with smart vibration monitoring technology

    In the field of wireless sensing technology, Microprogram has more than 27 years of experience. Its "Smart Vibration Monitoring Solution," which it self-developed, is primarily used in high-tech industries like semiconductor and FPD factories to help with vibration detection of production equipment (robotic arm, slide, motor, etc.), to identify machine abnormalities in real time and to increase the process yield and machine utilization. It has currently been used practically in chamber detection, robot blade scratching detection, machine vibration isolation testing, etc. Additionally, Smart Robot Blade/Fork is the first to embed the sensor into the robot blade, allowing for more sensitive vibration data detection due to the sensor's close proximity to the wafer. It supports lengthy continuous measurement in addition to being able to measure immediately on the production line, which is appropriate for different blade materials such as vacuum/negative pressure and ceramic types.

     

    New arrival! 3mm "Ultra-thin Production Line Detector"

    The most eye-catching new product from Microprogram, the "Ultra-thin Production Line Detector," which uses a wireless design and is used to detect abnormal interference or the jumping of external force in the automatic production line, will also be on display during the three-day (9/14-9/16) SEMICON exhibition. The 3mm thin profile makes it easier to penetrate manufacturing processes, reflect sensing values in real time and cut down on labor costs and times for equipment maintenance. In addition to automated manufacturing process equipment, it can also be used for wafer or FPD transport or for robotic arm loading.

  • Smart Vibration Monitoring Solution
    The “Smart Vibration Monitoring Solution” is for reducing the huge losses caused by machine malfunctions and shutdowns during the manufacturing process of semiconductors and flat panel display (FPD) manufacturers......

  • The aging of machines is monitored by vibration-sensing so that failure positions can be discovered earlier. If abnormal collisions occur during the monitoring process, they will be reported and displayed on the screen; it will also be connected to the customer’s system to upload real-time data, and to detect wafer damages or glass fragments as soon as possible. The “Smart Vibration Monitoring Solution” can be applied on various machines that have reduced yield rates or shutdowns due to vibrations, providing more precise and mind-easing manufacturing operations for customers.


    This solution has already been applied on semiconductors and FPD machines with customized development of Machine Fault Discovery System and Vibration Monitor for Wafer Scratches (refer to the demo video) and other systems; diverse equipment vibration monitoring modes were also provided in response to the various monitoring environments and requirements.

    “Oxygen Detector” has 0~25% oxygen content detection function; users can set the upper and lower warning limits according to their needs and respectively set the oxygen concentration % for alarm sounds, light signals and relay outputs, etc......

  • Oxygen Detector” is mainly used to detect the ratio of oxygen content in the ambient air. The oxygen content of the atmosphere is 20~21%; if it is less than 18%, the human body will start having symptoms of hypoxia. Therefore, in dangerous locations such as places with limited space or lack of oxygen, the oxygen content in the air of such spaces needs to be determined in order to prevent dangers from occurring after personnel enter. This product has 0~25% oxygen content detection function; users can set the upper and lower warning limits according to their needs and respectively set the oxygen concentration % for alarm sounds, light signals and relay outputs, etc. It is also equipped with a large text display that is clear and easy to read, has a buzzer, light signal warning and Digital Output functions.

  • Since the semiconductor manufacturing process is highly automated, it depends on the robotic arm to complete the moving operations once the wafer is inserted into the machinery. In order to improve the stability of the robotic arm and achieve real-time detection of wafer damage, collision interference and other sporadic abnormalities, it is customarily necessary to install sensors on the equipment or robotic arm for long-term monitoring in order to determine the current production status or anomaly reports.
