Overview

The State of New South Wales (NSW) has Australia’s largest population, strongest economy and offers a stable and secure economic and political environment. It is an economic powerhouse in the Asia Pacific region with strong access to Asia and an innovative sciences sector with world-class research. The Australian semiconductor sector has strong capabilities in niche areas and the Semiconductor Service Sector Bureau (S3B) has been established to further assist these companies. The “Australia – NSW Pavilion” will be made up of 5 NSW companies, S3B, and the Australian Department of Home Affairs – more information:

  • Morse Micro, (www.morsemicro.com) is a fabless semiconductor company developing Wi-Fi HaLow solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT) market.
  • MILLIBEAM, (www.millibeam.com) is a mmWave fabless semiconductor company developing high-performance integrated circuits and systems.
  • Quantum Brilliance, (https://quantumbrilliance.com/) is a quantum computing hardware company, who builds room temperature quantum computers.
  • Archer Materials, (https://archerx.com.au/) is developing advanced semiconductor devices, including chips relevant to quantum computing and medical diagnostics.
  • Syenta, (www.syenta.com.au) is transforming the electronics manufacturing sector. Their patented fabrication method enables the 3D printing of multi-material electronics.
  • Semiconductor Sector Service Bureau (S3B), https://www.s3b.au/ is funded by NSW Government with the aim to enhance the capability, workforce, market connectedness and competitiveness of the NSW and Australian semiconductor sector.  
  • Australian Department of Home Affairs, (www.homeaffairs.gov.au) is Australia’s visa/migration agency and will be promoting their skill migration programs.
