Ameriflex produces a full line of bellows assemblies to complement our metal bellows. We manufacture bolt-style and clamp-style bellows assemblies bellows valve assemblies, expansion joints, flanges, and more. Every bellows assembly we make is ultrasonically cleaned prior to welding, and helium leak tested after to ensure weld integrity and defect-free construction.

Our bellows assemblies are either built to meet customer specifications or designed by our expert team of in-house engineers to meet our customer’s unique requirements. Our 40+ years of metal bellows manufacturing experience and CNC machining capabilities help us create vacuum fittings with the perfect combination of diameter, length, and wall thickness, and produce tolerances within a few thousandths of an inch.

We manufacture our bellows assemblies from only the highest quality, domestically sourced or DFAR-compliant materials, including stainless steel, other alloys, and a variety of specialty metals. Our in-house precision CNC manufacturing capabilities allow us to manufacture fittings for your assemblies and maintain tight design tolerances. Metal bellows provide an all-metal pressure barrier and seal that flexes in one or more directions. Edge-welded metal bellows provide the most flex in the smallest amount of space of any bellows technology on the market a 90% stroke length. With various materials and configurations, BellowsTech’s edge-welded bellows can achieve the pressure, temperature, and leak rate requirements that our customers demand.

BellowsTech offers metal bellows from a variety of materials including titanium, Hastelloy, Inconel, and stainless steel. The Helical machined spring offers endless customization possibilities due to its proprietary production process. Machined springs are produced by machining solid bar stock to your desired requirements, including the number of coils, coil spacing, and ID and OD measurements. Unique to machined springs, we can also include a number of end attachments all in a single-piece solution, allowing your machined spring to perform multiple functions without the need for added assemblies.

Electroformed metal bellows:

Also known as electrodeposited metal bellows, are flexible, spring-like, precision-engineered components custom designed to fit into OEM parts or assemblies. Of the various types of bellows available today, only our patented manufacturing technology employs our premium alloy FlexNickel™. It offers superior performance characterization and makes our electrodeposited bellows exceptionally unique. Our electroformed bellows are extremely rugged, yet lightweight. They are very effective, especially in mission-critical applications like aerospace and defense, where requirements demand extreme tolerances and complex geometries.

Bellows Electrical Contacts - Electroformed Gold Plate Bellows Contacts:

MW Components manufactures several unique lines of bellows electrical contacts. Bellows technology in electrical contacts reduces the signal loss and increases the speed in which the signal is transmitted. Rather than travel along the path of a spring, the signal travels the walls of the bellows to get the maximum signal in the least amount of time. Our bellows electrical contacts stand apart for their exceptional performance and flexibility, which are ideal for a wide variety of applications.

Interconnect:

Interconnect electrical contacts provide flexible connections that can compensate for angular and parallel misalignments as they connect. They offer extremely low DC resistance, a minimum of self-inductance, and minimum of insertion loss, among other benefits. Use individually or in pairs.

Couplings Electrodeposited Bellows:

These couplings have a distinct bellows shape with convolutions. They are produced using the electrodepositing process, which involves creating a component by adding thin metal layers to a mandrel and then chemically removing the mandrel.
