Core Technology

-Ball Wave’s core technology, the Ball SAW(Surface Acoustic Wave) sensor, is an innovative chemical sensing technology that enables compact, high-speed, and high-sensitivity gas detection.

-By forming distinctive sensitive films on the surface of a tiny quartz ball quartz (Using the SAW method; surface acoustic wave) depending on the target gas, it can detect trace amounts of moisture, hydrogen, natural gas, organic gas mixtures, and more.

-By utilizing the piezoelectricity of quartz and eliminating edges through spherical processing, the sensor combines high sensitivity and high-speed response that cannot be achieved with flat SAW sensors. This holds the potential to become a completely new sensor system never before seen.

Products

-FalconTrace is a trace moisture analyzer that detects extremely small amounts of moisture in industrial and natural gases in real time, achieving detection limits as low as 1 ppb (parts per billion).

-Sylph, an ultra-compact gas chromatograph using the Ball SAW sensor, won a CES 2023 Innovation Award. It is a portable A5-sized gas analyzer capable of measuring types and concentrations of various mixed gases.
