Overview

CPFC is a pure-play III-V compound semiconductor wafer foundry. We offer full or partial III-V wafer growth and processing as a commercial contract manufacturing service.

Our 48,000 sq ft (4500 sq m) facility is a centralized, end-to-end, fully commercial operation with wholly-owned capital equipment dedicated to mid/high volume wafer fabrication. For over 20 years, we have worked with clients to move custom-design, best-in-class photonic devices from early R&D/prototyping stages into high yield, high volume manufacturing. Capabilities include InP, GaAs custom epitaxy and wafer processing, GaN epiwafer processing. MOCVD growth/regrowth/selective-area growth, FEOL/BEOL wafer processing, buried heterostructure lasers, quantum dot/dash devices, high-speed modulators, semiconductor optical amplifiers (SOAs), DFB lasers, FP lasers, laser/SOA arrays, and high quantum efficiency PDs. Supported applications include datacom, telecom, LiDAR, HAMR, OCT, photonic processing and HPC.

  Products

  • III-V Epitaxial Growth Services
InP and GaAs custom epitaxies grown by AsP MOCVD.
    ...

  • Custom epitaxial wafers for high power lasers, high-speed modulators, photodetectors, focal plane arrays and more. Can also offer gratings and overgrowth, as well as selective area growth for monolithic integration of multiple optical or electronic functionalities.
  • III-V Wafer Processing Services
Contract wafer manufacturing services for III-V lasers, SOAs, modulators, PDs, FPAs, and more....

  • Stepper, E-beam, and holographic lithography for wafer-scale patterning, PECVD, metallization, and more. Our professional manufacturing services can support several thousand wafers/year for advanced photonic devices, such as lasers, SOAs, coherent modulators and receivers, photodetectors, focal plane arrays, photonic integrated circuits, widely tunable lasers, and more.
