  • D-ReX - Gas Detector Series
The D-ReX is a versatile DIN-rail gas transmitter for semiconductor and industrial use. With diffusion, remote or extractive sampling, PoE/Modbus connectivity, and optional pyrolyzer support, it delivers reliable and flexible gas detection....

  • Overview

The D-ReX is a modular transmitter designed for the reliable detection of gases used in semiconductor manufacturing (e.g. AsH₃, silane, ammonia, chlorine), as well as a wide range of toxic, corrosive, and combustible gases. Its design supports diffusion, remote, or extractive sampling, with integrated Line Integrity Monitoring (LIM) to prevent unnoticed leaks in sampling lines.

    User Interface & Connectivity

A 2.4-inch full-color TFT display provides clear readouts and multilingual support for intuitive operation. Maintenance is simplified through Bluetooth app connectivity and hot-swappable sensor cartridges. With Power over Ethernet and compatibility with Modbus/TCP, Modbus/RTU, or 4–20 mA outputs, the D-ReX integrates seamlessly into industrial infrastructures.

    Key Benefits

    • Flexible sampling options (diffusion, remote, extractive with LIM)

    • Smart sensors for semiconductor process gases (e.g. AsH₃, silane, ammonia, chlorine)

    • Easy maintenance with Bluetooth app and hot-swap cartridges

    • Expandable safety design with up to five integrated relays

    • Optional Py-ReX module for measuring otherwise undetectable gases like NF₃

  • Py-ReX - Pyrolyzer Add-on
The Py-ReX is a pyrolyzer add-on for the D-ReX transmitter. It thermally converts electrochemically inactive gases such as NF₃ into measurable components, ensuring reliable detection for semiconductor manufacturing applications....

  • Purpose

The Py-ReX extends the D-ReX’s detection range by enabling the measurement of gases that cannot be detected directly. It is particularly valuable in semiconductor manufacturing, where gases like NF₃ play a critical role.

    Operating Principle

Installed in-line with the D-ReX PoS, the Py-ReX uses a heated quartz filament to thermally decompose NF₃ into measurable components. These are then quantified by the connected D-ReX sensors, ensuring accurate and reliable monitoring.

    Key Advantages

    • Enables precise detection of NF₃, a key semiconductor process gas

    • Seamless in-line integration with D-ReX PoS systems using the same pump and infrastructure

    • Compact DIN-rail design with robust industrial reliability

    • Enhances process safety and compliance by covering gases otherwise undetectable
