Equipped with the latest in Swept Source Optical Coherence Tomography (SS-OCT), the lab is set up to support feasibility studies for our US partners. A broad range of industries benefit from advanced SS-OCT for fast, accurate, in-situ, real-time testing of processes including polishing, dicing, alignment, thickness control and engraving. Applications specialists are on hand to advice and work with partners to find best solutions by leveraging Santec’s 15-years of experience as a pioneer in high performance optical imaging.
The new facility is in response to the need for a US site where companies interested in the potential improvements in process workflow that SS-OCT can bring to their production. Increases of automation in material processing is driving the need for fast monitoring such as SS-OCT systems to maintain production quality and improve yields.
