We are the bonding experts! Please contact us.

Surfx Technologies will be attending SEMICON West in San Francisco from July 9th to July 11th. We will be at booth 565 in the South Hall of the Moscone Center. We will have live demos of our new in-line plasma system. Please bring your microelectronic packages to clean and activate for bonding. Contact Kirk Kelly (Krkelly@surfxtechnologies.com) to set aside a time for sample testing. Our atmospheric pressure argon plasma is the only machine capable of removing organic and metal oxide contamination without damaging your delicate microwave circuits. Our argon plasmas are fast, safe and particle free. Integration into die bonders, wire bonders and molding machines is straightforward. We also offer turnkey systems that will drop right into your semiconductor packaging line.

 Products

  • Plasma Head with 100 mm Linear Beam
Achieve the same activation and chemistry of a vacuum plasma, but at atmospheric conditions. The beam width is maximized at 4 inches....

  • The AtomfloTM 600 argon plasma system is ideally suited for in-line cleaning and activation of materials prior to bonding. The plasma produces a beam of reactive atoms that etch away contaminants on the surface all the way down to the atomic scale. The compact and lightweight plasma head, together with the low-voltage, radio-frequency power supply, make it safe and easy to integrate surface treatment into any assembly line. The beam of reactive atoms is low temperature and 100% electrically neutral. It treats metals, glass, and plastics.  It will not damage sensitive electronics, or thin film polymers, such as polyethylene. An in-line production system can treat millions of parts per year at a cost of ownership of a few cents per part.
  • Atomflo 600 Controller
The AtomfloTM 600 is designed for high-volume, in-line manufacturing: • Fast, uniform treatment • Non-damaging: no sparks, no streamers, no ESD, no UV, and no particles. • Low temperature activation of thermally sensitive film...
