Location – Alfa Laval has redesigned its already sustainable and efficient gasketed plate heat exchangers to achieve new levels of efficiency, sustainability and serviceability. Changes to the heat exchanger include improved plate rigidity for longer-lasting plates, high-performance gasket sealing for high-pressure applications, changes to how the unit opens for easy servicing and a new distribution area that improves media flow, minimizing the risk of fouling. With this redesign, Alfa Laval wanted to keep the customer in mind and help them reduce their energy consumption and environmental impact and reduce the customer’s total cost of ownership.
