Avantes has developed the Pacto, a compact and lightweight spectrometer that excels in spectroscopy integration. It boasts high-speed performance with integration times up to 9 μs, minimal stray light of just 0.1%, and an impressive signal-to-noise ratio of 375:1. The Pacto supports USB2 communication and can be tailored to specific requirements with a choice of six slit sizes and over 15 grating types. For non-OEM applications, the replaceable slit option comes as standard. This versatile spectrometer is ideal for OEM applications and can be paired with Avantes' Software Development Kits (AvaSoft). The automated manufacturing process allows Avantes to produce the Pacto spectrometer efficiently, accurately, and at high volumes.

 In addition to the USB-powered AvaSpec-Pacto, Avantes introduces the Pacto Link and Pacto Bench Only variants. The Pacto Link accommodates different communication protocols (RS232 or SPI) for OEM customers, while the Pacto Bench Only is optimized for easy integration onto the customer's own electronic board or Avantes' AS7010 electronic board.

Parylene coatings are ultra-thin and uniform coatings that provide a number of high-value surface treatment properties such as moisture, chemical and dielectric properties, and thermal and UV stability. These properties make parylene coatings an ideal choice for a number of applications throughout the medical device, electronics, transportation, and aerospace industries. In order to ensure the coatings are uniform, a monitoring system is needed.

For these types of measurements, we have developed a system called the Ava-Reflectometer. Our new Ava-Reflectometer is an easy-to-use package that incorporates a halogen light source, a reflection probe, and the AvaSpec-Mini to perform reflection, thin film, and parylene thickness measurements.

In combination with our latest AS-7010 electronics, the AvaSpec-ULS2048CL-EVO offers you a versatile device including USB3.0 communication with ten times higher speed compared to USB2, and a second communication port that offers Gigabit Ethernet for integration in your company network and the possibility for long-distance communication, all at an affordable price.

Besides the high-speed communication options, the EVO series spectrometers also offer a fast microprocessor and 50 times more memory capacity, which can help you to store more spectra onboard and realize more functionality.

Options include a detector collection lens to enhance sensitivity in the 200-1100 nm range and an order-sorting filter to reduce second-order effects. Furthermore, the AvaSpec-2048CL is available with a wide range of slit sizes, gratings, and fiber-optic entrance connectors.
