  • maxon's ultra-compact MicroMACS6. The programmable motion controller is designed to synchronize several axes in real-time. This master controller is available with an optional Bluetooth service and support interface for the first time. The MicroMACS6 has no power stages, and autonomously controls up to six axes. The controller has two independent CAN interfaces, as well as an Ethernet and a USB interface. The MicroMACS6 is ideal for equipment engineering and is compatible with ESCON and EPOS power stages.

  • maxon’s DT 50 and DT 85 frameless BLDC motors with matching encoders really come into their own in dynamic applications.  Innovative motor concepts are the answer to growing market requirements for dynamic response, compactness, and power density. With the EC frameless DT series, maxon presents a solution that really packs a punch. The brushless motor with its frameless concept can be easily integrated into a wide range of applications by design engineers.

The features of the EC frameless DT motor series include minimal rotor inertia, excellent heat dissipation, compactness, and extremely simple integration. All motors from this product family are perfectly matched to each other. These motors also allow for large hollow shafts, which are used for the power supply or signal lines.

To match the DT motors maxon also offers a TSX MAG encoder. It is a through-shaft encoder that is not installed directly on the motor axis (off-axis installation). This gives engineers great freedom when it comes to design. The encoder can generate both Hall signals and incremental signals, which allows field-oriented commutation of the motor.

  • maxon's IDX compact drive
maxon's a compact drive with an integrated positioning controller....

  • The compact brushless EC-i motor combined with an EPOS4 positioning controller delivers a highly dynamic, powerful drive package with field-oriented control (FOC), high efficiency, and maintenance-free components in a high-quality industrial housing. The maxon IDX drives are suitable for use across the entire speed range (from standstill to maximum speed) and have an extremely high overload capability. Together with a positioning controller, the integrated sensor (single turn) enables absolute positioning.
