Overview

AES motomation specializes in automated material handling equipment and services for clean and sterile environments.

Together with our Japanese partners Nidec Instruments and Sinfonia Technology, we provide innovative handling solutions for both the semiconductor and flat panel display markets, specializing in replacement or upgrade of current module(s) as well as solutions for new tools. Depending on our customer's needs, these solutions can serve individual modules such as load ports, robots, pre-aligners or entire handling solutions for atmospheric, inert and vacuum environments.

Our laboratory automation solutions are based on COBOTs. These collaborative robot systems enable semi-automated tools which allow safe Robot / Human workspace cohabitation.

Our mission, however, goes far beyond providing modules or systems. With a global infrastructure, we work tirelessly pre-and-post sales to ensure that our customers receive excellent and prompt support and services, far exceeding their expectations regardless of the product used.

• Robot Teaching - Easier & Faster with Greater Accuracy. (Jul 03, 2024)

  Robot teaching has never been easier, faster, with greater accuracy and higher repeatability than ever before with our Auto Teaching device. It is known that robot performance depends greatly on the expertise of the operator. However, even with an expert operator within teaching is inconsistent at best. Our Auto Teaching takes robot teaching out of the hands of the operator and puts it into the hands of the robot. That's right.

  The robot literally on its own searches unique features defined in its environment, verify the features positions with their predefined positions, calculate the offsets and update the teach file with or without the operator’s involvement. Its accuracy is repeatable within the robot repeatability.

• iFEM - EFEM with a TWIST (Jul 03, 2024)

  The Twist is, it is an unconventional EFEM. It is not a "bolt on" module like a conventional EFEM, but is integrated into, like a slave device, that is controlled by the host or "parent tool." iFEM is THE off-the-shelf EFEM that has evolved to meet the industry equipment standardization to guarantee common interface design.

  Where off-the-shelf EFEMs do not meet small and mid equipment markets, due to EFEM manufacturers unwilling to customize standard product in low volume or specialty applications, iFEM is highly customizable. With a trackless robot and universal end-effectors it can serve up to four(4), 300mm load ports. Users with custom requirements can now rely on our iFEM as the most economical solution to unload product and deliver it to the parent tool for processing.
