AOTF Hyperspectral Imaging Systems
Brimrose Corporation of America offers VIS 400–1000nm and SWIR 900-1700nm Hyperspectral Imagers (HSI). Brimrose’s HSI systems are based on an Acousto-Optic Tunable Filter (AOTF) that acts as an electronically tunable spectral band pass filter. It is a solid state device with no mechanical moving parts and is immune to vibration. The utilization of the AOTF into the imaging system offers unmatched spectral flexibility in terms of scanning speed over the full range or random hopping on wavelengths of interest.
Using standard Brimrose software, the target or area of interest can be viewed at a user specified wavelength in real-time, customizable exposure time, automatic gain, dynamic range optimization, user adjustable system signal response and non-uniformity correction.
The AOTF HSI provides the complete spectrum of each pixel to the end-user for further analysis or image processing. Spectral data cubes are saved in “.png”, “.txt” or “.bsq” formats and are compatible with ENVI software.
