IRE SEMITEC has been grown up with semiconductor testing area for 20 years since it was founded in 2004 with ultra-fine processing technology based on mechanical grinding and special etching processing. We produce 'probe needles' used in semiconductor EDS inspection equipment. We also produce 'low leakage probe cards' by developing and securing patents for platinum needle probe card production technology through our core technology, the special coating process.

We manage the quality with the self-developed Auto Vision Inspection System (AVIS), and we produce in accordance with the international standards of ISO9001 and ISO14001 certification to ensure high quality products. Our 70% of the major clients  are from the United States, China, Japan, Taiwan, and Singapore.

All processing supports the instrumentation and test analysis required from R&D up to real-time production. Our R&D and QA departments can cooperate on the most demanding requirements in reliability, testing and verification. IRE SEMITEC Research Institute is constantly developing new materials and probe needles for fine pitch, and also the products in medical fields as we welcome new opportunities and face new challenges to manufacturing specialized small-scale products for R&D purposes.

  • Providing Total Solutions for Semiconductor Chip Testing with Ultra-Fine Technology

    The event, attended by over 1,000 women CEOs from across the country, was the largest of this kind, focusing on empowering female entrepreneurs and fostering business networking under the slogan, "3.26 Million Women-Owned Businesses: Beyond Growth, To the Word!"

    As a member of the Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association, IRE SEMITEC showcased its proprietary ultra-fine technology, having manufactured probe pins for over 25 years. The company specializes in both electrochemical and mechanical polishing methods, supplying custom probe pins made from tungsten, rhenium-tungsten, palladium alloy, and platinum alloy to meet diverse customer requirements.

    With strict tolerance management within 1/1,000, IRE SEMITHEC ensures optimal electrical performance and 100% custom production for every client. Their products are not only used in the semiconductor industry but are also expanding into medical and beauty sectors.

    IRE SEMITEC also manufactures probe cards for wafer testing, enabling the selection of good chips during the semiconductor test process. Chips that pass these tests are packaged and mounted in electronic components.

    As the official Korean distributor for COTO Technology, a renowned US relay manufacturer with a 100-year history, IRE SEMITEC supplies high-performance relays, switches, and magnetic sensors for applications in electric vehicles, solar cells, medical devices, and measurement equipment. Their relay solutions are recognized for high reliability and are available in a variety of packages.

    At the seminar, IRE SEMITEC attracted significant attention by exhibiting its key products, including MEMS pins and Cobra pins with diameters as fine as 0.030mm—technologies that greatly enhance accuracy and efficiency in semiconductor testing. The company’s high-performance relays are also contributing to the advancement of the Korean electronics industry.
