  Press Releases

  • Presented by marco System Analysis and Development – Booth # R7112/8

Precision dispensing isn’t just about valves and gantry systems – it’s about solving real production challenges. Whether you need to eliminate air bubbles, apply exact micro-dots, or scale from prototyping to high volume production, marco delivers fully integrated solutions tailored to your production process.

At the SEMICON Taiwan 2026 Show, marco presents its latest complete dispensing solutions – a modular system that includes dispensing valves and dispensing heads, material preparation, control technology, and robotic integration into the production line, all built to work seamlessly together.

Solving the biggest challenges in precision dispensing

Challenge 1: Air bubbles compromise quality.
marco’2 solution: Air-free dispensing starts with the right material preparation. Using vacuum degassing tanks, media is conditioned before it ever reaches the valve. This ensures bubble-free applications for even the most sensitive adhesives and sealants.

Challenge 2: Pulsation affects micro-dispensing accuracy.
marco’s solution: The PushMembrane system delivers continuous, pulsation-free media flow – ideal for high-viscosity or shear-sensitive materials. Combined with the SJet Power valve, it guarantees stable volumes and repeatable dispensing.

Challenge 3: Complex dispensing paths cause timing errors.
marco’s solution: With synchronized motion and dispensing, marco’s DCU (Dispensing Control Unit) ensures perfect timing between robot movement and valve activation – critical for clean starts, sharp stops, and accurate line paths.

Challenge 4: Too many vendors, too much complexity.
marco’s solution: As a single-source partner, marco provides complete dispensing systems – including gantry robots (like marc0 and marc3), valve technology, software, and monitoring. One system. One contact. Full responsibility.

Contact or Non-Contact Dispensing – Matched to Your Process

Speed, control, and precision: marco supports both contact and non-contact dispensing, depending on your production needs. Both methods use piezo-operated micro-dispensing valves with marco’s proprietary TorqueBlock technology.

    • Non-contact dispensing uses high-speed jetting to apply adhesives, greases, liquid metals, or selective conformal coatings precisely without touching the substrate. It is ideal for electronics, optics, and automotive assemblies.
    • Contact dispensing applies the material through a dispensing needle directly onto the substrate. It is well-suited for applications such as grease dispensing on mechanical parts, structural bonding, and the application of sealing beads – wherever controlled material placement is required.

With interchangeable valve seats and modular control, switching between dispensing methods is seamless — without reengineering the system.

A complete system – built for you

Each application is unique. That’s why marco tailors its solutions to your exact production parameters – from part geometry to takt time and material behavior. Our engineers test, validate, and configure the ideal combination of:

    • Dispensing valve and valve seats (contact, jetting, volumetric)
    • Media preparation (degassing tanks, temperature control)
    • Material delivery (PushMembrane, pressure tank)
    • Motion platform (e.g., marc0 Gantry System)
    • Control & monitoring (DCU, cameras, software integration)

Whether you're dispensing on a single station or integrating into a fully automated line, marco system delivers the same promise: bubble-free results, reliable performance, and scalable system architecture.

  • marco systems’ two-component mixing head combines precise mixing and dispensing in a single compact unit.

Unlike conventional systems that require separate mixing and dispensing steps, the 2C mixing head blends the components directly before application. Stepper motors control the feed rates with volumetric tolerances of less than 0.5%, ensuring precise ratios even with challenging materials.

This design prevents curing inside the machine or lines – only the disposable mixing helix contacts the mixed medium.

Dynamic mixing options with a separate motor are available for applications with extreme mixing ratios or high demands on homogeneity. Specially developed modular mixing spirals enable consistent and reproducible results. An optional automatic changeover system supports increased automation.

The compact design streamlines dosing processes and helps reduce material waste, downtime, and maintenance effort.

  • marco systems‘ PushMembrane – A Pressure Stabilize
The PushMembrane stabilizes pressure in the fluid supply between tank and valve. It ensures consistent dispensing performance even with fluctuating upstream pressure or longer distances between tank and dispensing head....

  • In precision dispensing, even small pressure fluctuations can cause dosing errors, especially with sensitive materials or long fluid lines. Common issues like pressure spikes, flow surges or unstable tank pressure often lead to inconsistent results.

The marco PushMembrane solves this by stabilizing the pressure between material supply and dispensing head. A controlled pneumatic-oil reservoir applies consistent force to the fluid via a flexible membrane. When the internal volume decreases, an inlet valve refills the membrane—without interrupting flow. This ensures the dispensing valve always operates under stable pressure, regardless of tank distance or upstream pressure behavior. The PushMembrane is installed inline between the tank and valve, making it an effective upgrade for improving accuracy and repeatability in any advanced microdispensing setup.

  • Dispensing Valves SJet and SJet Power

  • The SJet and SJet Power valves are marco’s high-speed piezo dispensing valves for contact and non-contact dispensing. The SJet Power valve is more powerful, has a more rigid design and was developed for highly viscous materials. Interchangeable valve seats meet fluid and process requirements.

A precision actuator enables ultra-fast, reliable dispensing with a volume tolerance of less than 1%. The modular design supports a wide range of fluids and makes the valves ideal for semiconductor processes requiring speed and accuracy. Whether jetting or needle dispensing, both ensure consistent results. They can be supplied from a cartridge or combined with a pressure tank system.

The proprietary marco piezo drive guarantees a service life of 1,000,000,000 cycles. High frequency and durability reduce downtime, improve throughput and lower costs. The valves handle low- to high-viscosity materials and are ideal for underfill, dam & fill and conformal coating in PCB and semiconductor assembly.
