  Press Releases

  • TAIPEI - French Chamber Taiwan (FCT) today announced the lineup of the France Pavilion at SEMICON Taiwan 2026, taking place September 2-4 at TaiNEX 1 & 2 in Taipei. Located at Booth R7324, the pavilion brings together nine leading French organisations spanning the semiconductor value chain, from fundamental research and advanced materials to processor design, equipment and environmental services.

The 2026 France Pavilion features CEA-Leti, SiPearl, Veolia, STMicroelectronics, Quobly, ECM Group, Inventec Performance Chemicals, Technic, and IBS.

CEA-Leti, a premier applied research institute in microelectronics and nanotechnology based in Grenoble, bridges fundamental research and industry and has incubated 76 startups, including Quobly and Soitec. SiPearl designs high-performance European processors for HPC and AI; its Rhea1 chip powers JUPITER, Europe's first exascale supercomputer. Veolia brings over 40 years of experience providing ultra-pure water treatment and effluent management for semiconductor fabs worldwide. STMicroelectronics, a Franco-Italian group and one of the world's top 10 semiconductor manufacturers, supplies microcontrollers, power chips, sensors and automotive solutions globally. Quobly, a CEA/CNRS spin-off, is building silicon-based quantum processors on 300mm wafers using existing semiconductor fabrication methods. ECM Group, founded in 1928, supplies thermal treatment equipment for semiconductors, including CVD and crystal growth systems. Inventec Performance Chemicals, part of the Dehon group, provides performance chemistry for electronics manufacturing. Technic is a global specialist in specialty chemistry, equipment and analytical tools for semiconductor and PCB surface finishing. IBS is a leading provider of ion implanters, implantation services and equipment.

"The France Pavilion showcases the depth and diversity of French innovation in semiconductors, from fundamental research to industrial-scale equipment and services," said Stephane Peden, General Manager of French Chamber Taiwan. "It reflects the growing strategic partnership between France and Taiwan in one of the world's most critical technology sectors."

Visitors can meet all nine companies at Booth R7324 throughout the show, from September 2 to 4, 2026.
