IR Vision is showcasing our InAs Quasi Photo-Dember (QPD) photodetector at SEMICON Taiwan 2026. The device is based on a proprietary photodetection mechanism designed to provide high infrared sensitivity while operating at room temperature without thermoelectric cooling.
The InAs QPD photodetector offers broadband spectral response from 400 nm to 3.5 μm and enables intrinsic photodetector gain under zero-bias operation. By reducing the cooling, power, size, weight, and cost requirements associated with conventional high-performance infrared detectors, the technology is intended to support more compact and deployable infrared sensing systems.
IR Vision is targeting applications including gas sensing, portable spectroscopy, UAV sensing, industrial monitoring, and other SWaP-C-constrained applications. At SEMICON Taiwan 2026, the company is seeking opportunities to connect with infrared module manufacturers, system integrators, semiconductor manufacturing partners, and potential customers for product integration, sample evaluation, and future co-development.
