WEISUN Industrial will exhibit at SEMICON Taiwan 2026 from September 2 to 4, at Booth P5712 in the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, presenting its vacuum curing oven for semiconductor advanced packaging — showing how thermal process equipment can maintain full-area temperature uniformity and chamber cleanliness under high-temperature conditions.
As advanced packaging moves toward thinner substrates, more redistribution layers and larger panel sizes, the control requirements for curing and annealing are no longer simply a matter of “reaching the set temperature.” Temperature variation between positions on a wafer or carrier, residual moisture and solvents inside the chamber, and the risk of particles and oxidation during processing all show up directly in back-end yield — which makes the stability of thermal process equipment a key evaluation point at the process planning stage.
The vacuum curing oven on display uses a multi-zone precision temperature control design, with multi-point thermocouples and independently controlled heating zones that hold every measurement point stable during the soak stage. A human-machine interface simultaneously displays multi-point real-time temperatures, vacuum pressure, chamber pressure, nitrogen flow rate and oxygen concentration, so process parameters can be recorded and traced from start to finish. The chamber uses a high-polish surface finish and can operate in an ISO Class 4 cleanroom environment. Vacuum processing is combined with a precisely engineered flow field, so nitrogen passes over the carrier trays in a stable, directed flow that continuously removes the moisture and residual solvents generated during the process.
The oven is also equipped with a nitrogen heating and recovery unit that routes exhausted nitrogen into a heat and solvent recovery system for reuse. Compared with single-pass exhaust, this reduces nitrogen consumption by up to 50%, helping to lower line operating costs and carbon emissions. Through the vacuum curing oven, WEISUN aims to move thermal processing beyond reliance on equipment set points and operator experience, toward process conditions that are measurable, traceable and consistent in quality — helping semiconductor and advanced packaging customers strengthen process control and maintain stable production quality.
