Solid State Cooling Systems is a globally recognized leader in thermoelectric-based recirculating chillers and heat exchangers for a wide variety of markets and applications, including the semiconductor market. Our precision temperature control systems are known for long-life reliability, energy efficiency, compact size, and ease of use. Over our 31 year history, we have shipped over 80,000 units.

Our ThermoRack 1201, 1801 and new 2801 rackmount chillers are the ideal solution for temperature control of plasma etch systems. For applications that require even more cooling capacity, we have our Nikola family of chillers with capacities of 3KW, 5KW and higher. Our Cleanstream and Switchback products were specifically developed for precise temperature control of wet stations and corrosive chemical baths.

Our systems do not use compressors, refrigerants or CO2, making them the environmentally friendly choice for high reliability chiller. Beyond semeiconductor processing, we have many years of experience precisely controlling the temperature of lasers, optics, test equipment, analytical equipment and a wide variety of other systems.

    Our most popular chiller for plasma etch and other semiconductor processing applications requiring precise temperature control. Compact, highly reliable, and energy efficient, ThermoRack 1201/1801 uses no compressors or harmful refrigerants....

  • Providing up to 1800 Watts of cooling capacity with ±0.05°C stability at constant load, ThermoRack 1201 and 1801 thermoelectric recirculating chillers use as much as 80% less power than compressor chillers.  Built upon the foundation of our ThermoRack 1201 system, the ThermoRack 1801 provides 50% more capacity in the same 5U rack space.  With only two moving parts and no compressor, this thermoelectric chiller is known for high reliability and long life.  The ThermoRack 1201 and 1801 chillers reduce environmental impacts by consuming less power, using 60% less facility water and not requiring any Freon or other chemical refrigerants. These chillers cover a wide operating temperature range from -10°C to +80°C. Available with a variety of machine interfaces for connecting to Lam, AMAT, or TEL tools.
